As a kid I thought it was a figment of Zack in his mind.
Years later I figure it's Cloud's real self in his subconscious to some degree melded with a bit of Zack's persona. There's that line "We got by with just scrapped knees back then" after falling through the church, makes me think that was a callback to Cloud's childhood further proving it's Cloud taking to himself. The reactor line is wonky, but maybe the translation was suppose to be something like "Head's up! This one's different!" since the majority of reactors had no security other than Midgar's and the underwater one.

I want to escort my girl, my flower girl, my precious, gorgeous, holy Aerith to safety, and take down Shinra soldiers and fiends and ride chocobos in a DOOM mod. THAT IS WHAT I WANT. Give me give me now now now. I want it now. Final Fantasy 7 is one of the single best video game worlds without a doubt.

I thought it would be smart to start making up jokes now. Whenever APRIL HITS I like to have some funny jokes in the pipeline to brighten the lives of kids and folks on the street. Nothing like a good joke to make friends either! So without further ado lets take off our serious hats and adorn our bright red clown noses and mismatched socks!

JOKE 1 I made up: What is a chocobo's favorite snack? I don't know but if it's a golden chocobo you better not steal its CAROB NUTS!
JOKE 2 i made up: What is salty, green, and hella mean? Earth Materia obtained from the beaches of Costa del Sol! But don't ask me just ask Cloud Strife! He knows alllllll about this particular item.
JOKE 3 I made up: where did Sephiroth get the robe.com? I don't really know but something tells me something that cool must be from a far out place. I hear JENOVA is actually a clothing brand in outer space that happened to also be an alien lady. Wooowy!
