Coutless hours were spent on that one. Both the complexity and the framerate of the graphics are absolutely aggravating from today's standpoint, yet the game has something special about it. The title screen music was awesome.

Never managed to complete mission 6 though - fired all missiles and emptied the machine gun ammo at that surfaced submarine, but it just wouldn't die.

I never owned a Machintosh, so I don't know how it is. I however, played F/A-18 Interceptor on Amiga. Too bad I lost the code wheel.

This. It came with the Amiga 500 starter pack. It's pretty awesome, it's smooth, it plays well.
