I use this little fella. Of course it's finicky because it's chink manufacturing, but to be fair it still works to this very day and it's been a while since I bought it. It has physical buttons to fit the screen to your liking (kind of like moving around your CRT monitor display area). Came adjusted to PAL, so I had to navigate the menu (you can kinda see the menu even thought it jumps around vertically) and move the option to NTSC-U for it to work (since there's no physical switch for NTSC/PAL selection). Outputs to both composite and s-video, the latter looks insanely good on my Trinitron. Whenever I'm not using my OLED, I use this little guy to watch old anime the way God intended.
Never dabbled too much into component converters since component can do resolutions that a standard TV can't take (480p, 720p, 1080i) and I would rather not waste money on something that won't work. Save me the headache. Besides if you have s-video you won't miss component, specially not when your intent is to watch video instead of playing games. Though you could also use it to emulate PS2 and GameCube, and it looks exactly the same as the consoles would.
I'm rambling, but yeah it's good. Also bought an extra long VGA cable so I don't have to reposition my PC. I'm sure you can buy both on ebay, mercadolibre or whatever you use. Pretty sure it all comes from China, so AliExpress is a no-brainer, I would rather buy locally though if the price is right.
Forgot to mention, mine included de composite, s-video and VGA cables so you don't have to worry about that, yes they're shitty but it's not like you're going to tell the difference on an SD TV. Bad shielded analog cables are only noticeable on CRT monitors to me at least.
