Picked up a 34" Sony Trinitron, 1996 vintage, excellent condition today, for free.

Works amazing but I still wanted to open it up to clean the dust out and it was so bad that it's now turned in to a full disassembly job.

Anyways, all components look great except for the tuner circuits and this IC protective cover. Just wondering if this is something that other people commonly see on their CRTs or if it could be a symptom of some other problem?
