Any chance in hell Quake 5 will be good?

I remember Carmack saying they wanted to take it back to the Quake 1 universe.

That would be a beautiful thing.

I know Carmack is gone now but still.

Wouldn't it be the most incredible thing ever if id software hire Romero again and he actually makes a good Quake 5?
