Romancing SaGa 2 has:
Leon, Gerard, Viktor, especially Gerard who mans up quite a lot in his generation.
The Mountain Monks/Brawlers
The Saigo Clan
The Sea Merchants
Hannibal
Most of the male imperial militia
The Desert Guards
The male Holy Orders
The male Final Emperor has a pretty manly looking sprite but he's more of a David Bowie expy

Romancing SaGa 3 has:

Harid
Ward
Sharl
Black
Robin
Nora

SaGa Frontier has:

Red
Gen
Roufas
Fuse
Fei Long

Honorable mention goes to Hawk but he's a NPC, albeit a pretty important one.

Unlimited also has quite a few manly character like Kurt or Iskandar, but it's not retro.

Most of those don't have a storyline as good as Gustave though, so don't expect them to have his characterization, except maybe Gerard, which in fact becomes one of Gustave's close friend in Imperial SaGa.
