Personally I think Doom 2 is better than Evilution or Plutonia. It starts off strong and eventually becomes hit or miss, but Final Doom is hit or miss the whole way through. Final Doom is still fantastic, but it feels more experimental than Doom 2.

Doom 64 is in a way more of a sequel to Doom 1 than 2 was. It has less Doom 2 enemies and the level designer is usually smaller and tighter, just like the first one. Overall I would say 1>64>2>Final, but the difference in quality between them isn't that great.
