So boys can you recommend some good music that goes well along with Doom? besides the obvious soundtrack influences like Pantera, anything from any era really.
I could go track from track looking at the Demonsteele MIDI file but I'd rather pop up a full album and get shooting.

This is entirely because they're stuck in this stupid 90's mentality of "you have to ask permission to use this". In reality almost no licenses work like this because it effectively means if the author is unreachable the resource is unusable. Instead licenses specify certain levels of re-usability and attribution, up to not allowing public releases of any works made using a resource. In cases where the resource is intended to be used by someone other than the author for publicly released works, various types of legal attribution are specified and anyone is generally free to use it so long as they comply. There are dozens of licenses like this for art and code resources that are freely available to use for anyone. This kind of thing has been standard for more than a decade in the open source community.

This, for example, is pure nonsense and wouldn't hold up in any court. It also completely kills creativity and will inevitably lead to the forums requiring increasingly complex standards of what constitutes "permission", which will lead to less mods being released there. If they want to shoot themselves in the foot over some perceived moral victory it's no skin off my back.
Now can we please just talk about Doom? Where's Eric? I want more nuBURLTUMD

i'm assuming he's talking about a very tiny but noticeable line in the M of DOOM that absolutely nobody bothers to fix in photoshop before uploading the doom cover to make a quick buck of it

i love brutal doom as a mix between duke 3d gameplay, but i disable the hud blood/crack effects. also spicing up the weapons and improving the ai are great additions. its a shame its become the norm to hate brutal doom because it got popular.

Even nowadays, a lot of FPS games don't feel at least as good to control and move in as doom did in 1993. I think the Source engine is one of the best feeling modern engine for FPS games, which makes sense because it has roots in the quake engine, the successor to doom obviously

If I got this printed at a printing place, what dimensions?

Although not necessarily doom, are there high quality posters for other id games that might have signatures?
