Killer thread OP, this is the kind of OC that puts /vr/ a mark above the rest of the boards.

Mark my words, there's plenty of interested people lurking this. I've read every post so far.

Not as hardcore as what you're doing here in assembly, but I recently made a small platformer/katamari damacy style game (mashup) for the Nintendo DS in pure C.. it's also a very hardware restricted platform (4 Meg, can't get enough speed to do anything but trivial pong games unless you're using C or ASM, no dedicated floating point processor, etc.). Turned out to be 10,000 lines of C in the end. Similar setup to you (Linux + some windows tools in WINE), but with GCC cross compiling to ARM.
