A year before this, I was the kind of guy who would have laughed at hipsters who unironically watch VHS tapes in current year, but I have to say, nabbing the cheap VCR for shits actually gave me an appreciation for it. They don't look or sound nearly as bad as people want you to remember, at least as long as you've got decent equipment.

It's the best 10 bucks I ever spent. Gave it a quick clean and it works like a charm. Tapes with hi-fi audio sound fantastic.
