What he posted is basically the Amiga and Atari ST versions. Gauntlet wasn't a very fancy looking game, even at the arcades.

Nah, I enjoyed CV2 the way it was. Played it in 1989, long before everyone watched those shitty youtube videos. Same with Zelda 2 (and Faxanadu a couple years later).
