I did to some degree, but the new tech stuff under the hood meant that my old config may ended up having garbage lines that did nothing, so its safer, cleaner and smarter to have gzdoom create a new one, only porting the controls from the old .ini.

Still, this is the kind of bullshit any new person wanting to play modded doom properly has to go through. Imagine how that must feel trying to figure out from scratch.
