If I go the HDMI route, I would want audio encoded in the signal, which DVI can't provide. It's for a capture device which can't do RGB, which I thought was fine, but also no 240p over component video. I'm sure there's a workaround for analog audio using line in, though. Is OSSC available for sale? Last I checked, there was a waiting list and one guy working on them TBA on everything. MLIG said that there were issues with lots of capture devices with OSSC to begin with, I'd probably sooner pony up for the framemeister because I know that would work great.

Well, pic related is winning right now. My capture card accepts 240p over S-video just fine, so even if this is a bad solution, it's a lot cheaper than buying an OSSC or framemeister just for recordings.
