Overall Castleoids because of the sheer amount of enemies, weapon types, items etc. It's more imaginative and way past cool.

Try to maximize the periods of time where you're not being attacked, or have some decent cover. Such as in the screenshot, hug the upper-left ceiling for as long as possible, then haul ass to the lower right (behind the Moai) and hide there.

configure your MAME selection and frontend
plug joysticks in
edit msconfig to boot into the MAME frontend immediately
turn it on to play, and off when you're done
