Since no one else has forwarded a more complete game design than the gravity fighting one, I'd suggest any one who wants to do character art or background design could start.

Here are the limitations I'll impose, and this applies to both backgrounds and objects (sprites): you get to define 8x8 pixel tiles which can select from 8 palettes composed of 16 colors each (including a transparent color). Additionally backgrounds are restricted to be on a grid 32x32 tiles large, and you get 2 layers of these grids (think foreground and background). Objects aren't required to be on a grid, so you can overlap tiles on top of each other (if for instance you wanted to draw body and arms separately).

Don't worry about the technical details yet. We'll map them to SNES graphics soon enough. I just want to see some ideas.

Since I can code, and am one of the few folks in this thread who can, I leave it in your hands /vr/.

Unfortunately I've got a shit ton of work due tomorrow morning, so I can't do much else tonight, but wait for the weekend.
