Battle Beast. Excellent graphics for its time (although the animations lack frames), pretty good character design (I love Sparticus and Vermin), AWFUL gameplay. Possibly the worst fighting game posted in this thread.

I dream of a fighter reuniting the best characters (plus stages and musics) from obscure and even crap games.
Not a MUGEN, but a real fighting game, made by a company like Dimps. If I had the resources I would try to develop something, but would be hard to get the rights for some characters.
