I mean, I didn't take pics of finding them but most of the boxes are folded out on my primary retro game shelf which I really need to rearrange to fit all my recent pickups and take a good focused picture of - and more importantly for my purposes my modern games since I have a bigger problem about buying duplicates of those.

The basement is already whitewashed. It ain't getting finished because the headroom is only six feet as is. It's nice for people to be able to ash on the floor etc anyway. I agree that it could use reorganized though. I should have a variety of consoles displayed on the shelves there and the stockpiles around the corner deeper in the recesses.

Here's a pic of some cheap shelves I nailed up out of leftover floorboards and fence slats. It has most of the retro software, at least the stuff with uniform sizes.

The problem with bookcases is that the shelves are generally too widely spaced to efficiently store games. You could just make your own out of wooden palettes and light "fence boards". Video games are also much lighter than books so the shelves don't need to be so thick (or deep)

This is most of the gen 3 & 4 games. It's probably a bit over 100 but w/e. My real life friends are pretty impressed by it and my other stuff but it's modest by Internet standards. I really need to take a sharper pic.
