>It would have been nice to see more 3D games with settings from the manga/anime and create-a-duelist functions. Duelist Kingdom, Virtual World, Battle City etc. Other than that no complaints.
I want this so badly... as much as I love Battle City, my favorite arc has always been Duelist Kingdom, due to the variety of settings on that island, the introduction of so many iconic characters, the star chips, Pegasus... so much good stuff, all we ever got were installments that tried to simply replicate the manga/anime duels with some cutscenes, like Legacy of the Duelist, or a simple RPG which is the closest we've gotten to feeling like a duelist in Duelist Kingdom exploring the island, which was in Duel Monsters (GB) that thankfully got a translation recently... I want to explore that island on my journey to collection star chips, almost like The Sacred Cards (GBA) but with more polish and a larger scope, it'd be incredible.

One of the least appreciated parts of Forbidden Memories, though it's understandable why these scenes are skipped, or else it'd take too long to duel, but I have to say many of these models are downright impressive... and for 722 cards? A respectable effort.

Kaiba can be a pain in any Yu-Gi-Oh! video game, my main memories of him from EDS and SDD are his Cyber Stein and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon combo, though many times I took that joy away from him and either destroyed his 4500ATK card with a Spell... or downright took it from with to use it on my side, always a treat.

Indeed... Yu-Gi-Oh! was always a card game full of flaws to me, even in the early days we all recall so fondly, but nowadays it's just a mess and I don't get much pleasure out of playing it, I try to enjoy Master Duel, and sometimes it's fine, but it doesn't compare to a duel from back then, even with all of the flaws it had.
