Just curious, how do you guys game on your CRTs?

I've been using a softmodded Wii so far, but the poor N64 and PS1 support has been a bummer, and I'm thinking of trying to do some sort of raspberry pi thing.

I also tried connecting it to my PC via a cheap HDMI to S-Video converter but the results weren't great since windows refused to output anything less than 800x600 to it, and using custom resolutions through the Nvidia control panel didn't seem to work.
