Why did they switch the logo to Golbez in later versions?
Which version do you like best, and do you think this game still holds up?

Why can't millennials handle Final Fantasy IV??

>Mediocre Story
>No job / spell learning system
>Straight level grinding
>Easy bosses
>Great Music

Not saying it was terrible game but was this the worst in the final fantasy series? It didn't have improved gameplay like any of the previous games did. I feel like this game was as barebones as an rpg can get.

Okay. So what's the deal with this game? It's had so many releases, two different titles, multiple translations (both fan and official) and hardtype easytype versions, minor censorship, and re-releases that I honestly don't know where to start.

Simple question, what is the most true-to-the-original (Japanese) release? Is there a translation patch for the original Japanese SNES rom? I want to play this for the first time but have as close to the very first release as possible (not interested in the wacky FF2US translation)

I admit that nostalgia played a major role in making this difficult selection. It was literally My First RPG, and I think it still holds up well today.
