Is there a good trick to taking photos of a CRT? I cannot into photography.

This is same srceen, same phone taken seconds apart but the phone either gets clear scan lines and dark image, or gets more brightness at a loss of detail. It is fickle depending on what auto-focus feels at that instant. What manual settings should be used here?
