I need your help:

Today I was going through my moms attic in search for a CRT (she has like 12 CRTs up there). I came across a Mitsubishi CRT, that kinda looked like pic related, but not quite. Not sure if it was a "Diamondtron" or how it's called.

I was quite happy, until I noticed there were no AC cable. I checked the whole TV and found a tiny bit of wire sticking out from the side. I shit you not, someone was cutting the wires of ALL the CRTs (wasn't my mom, there are some more people living in the house).

So my question is, how do I repair a cut wire? Can I just cut another wire and kinda stick them together?

well first of all, if you knew the model number that would help.

generally most Mitsubishi TVs are pretty fine as long as it's in good condition.
