Honestly one of my favorite NES soundtracks, it's so dreamy.

Mc Donald's has surprisingly 2 good games.

First is MC Kids, I loved it as a kid and still think it's a fun game, nothing extraordinary but it's a decent platformer with some cool things like gravity switch, and grab and throw mechanics.
The graphics are simple but defined and the colors are vivid, it's a late NES game after all, and it borrows a lot from Mario.
Also the music is good, clear chiptune music with soothing sound waves and catchy/upbeat melodies.
This one is a bit underrated, and I think it's mostly for it being a McD game and looking too kiddy. There's an interesting interview with the developers of this game.

Second is Mc Donald in Treasure Land for the Genesis, which is a Treasure platformer. It reminds a lot of the many crazy good Konami platformers from that era, in which many Treasure people worked.
Fun solid game, not Treasure at their most potential, but it does its job as a game no problem.

Played this recently on emulator, pretty awesome platformer, would have loved it if I played it back in the day.

My fucking nigga, I came here to post that.
People often say it's a sonic clone but I think it's a pretty good Sonic clone in any case, and people love the old 2D Sonic games, so I don't know why Socket is always shitted on.
Loved it when I was a kid.

Underrated platformer. It wasn't by any means the best platformer I ever played, but far from bad.

For some reason Mc Donald's have quite a few good games, there Treasure Land on the Genesis that's actually a great platformer made by Treasure (Gunstar Heroes, Mischief Makers, etc).

M.C. Kids also has a great chiptune soundtrack.

Anyone else think this game was underrated?
I thought it was a charming platformer with nice (albeit simple) visuals, good controls and a few quirks that actually make it worth playing.

As a kid, I rented a bootleg Famiclon cart, "MC Mario", it was just a hack of MCKids with Mario and Luigi. I remember loving it a lot, although I could tell it wasn't a real Mario game, it was still pretty good. I particularly remember I was blown away with the gravity switch, I don't think I had played a game that did that before back then.

Also, the music still gives me nostalgia goosebumps

here's an interview with one of the game's developers, it's an interesting read. Mc Donald's basically fucked them over and didn't help them promote the game at all:

Also, anyone played the Genesis version? How is it compared to the NES?
