I get you. In fact I like to think of Quake weapons as if they all come from that lovecraftian dimension, not from humans. How else can you explain freaking combat nailguns other than madness?
Speaking of which, the Q2-inspired SSG in this version of mod is kinda eh. The QC one from latest edition looks and fits way better.
Still, 1.5 axe doesn't bother me. It's rusty enough. And animations are infinitely better.
