When it comes to the JPN games, yeah the Saturn has some bad ass games and a shit ton, its unfortunate you cant play most of them tho, since very few know how to read moontalk unless its a fighting game or shooting games or even some easy platformers. Otherwise if you are comparing the PSX & Saturn side by the side western release, the obvious winner is the PSX. The Saturn stand toe to toe in Japan and was among the favorite console arguably the best "arcade at home" console, until the late 90's. But yeah, I mean the U.S Saturn sucks big fucking nuts, but comparing it to its Japanese counter part its really unfair. Still, it was the better counsel in Japan.

Is SSF still the best emulator for Sega Saturn right now? I finished Shining Force 3, scenario 1 on GiriGiri and it had a lot of problems, but I had a shit PC back then. Now I've upgraded and want to finish all 3 games with no sound or slowdown problems.

how didn't sega of all companies not see the coming of 3D in consoles?

Looking to get a Saturn as I've never owned/played one before. Which model is ideal?

My options are model 1/2 U.S or the model 1/2 Japanese ones.

I will be using action replay to play imports. Is there any difference between these models in their performance?
