Some pretty neat shit in there, OP. Better than most of the "look at the 1 dollar games I bought" threads.

Both are good games, and I enjoy both of them.

I always go with the cooler-seeming one, in tradition to how I've always done it.

So basically you have a difference of taste, and are projecting that into facts?
It would be easier if you just said "don't bother talking to me, I'm a twit".

Get out of /vr/, your kind is not wanted.

>>854105
So you're getting both, or X?
If you're getting just Y, you're a pansy.

They also lowered developing costs, allowed the market to expand, and paved the road for not only some amazing games at their conception, but modern gaming as we know it.

It's both that and all the people who were in to playing card games played either Magic or Yugioh because they're simply much better. I've known a total of 2 people who played Pokemon cards and they told me they only did it for shits and giggles when they didn't feel like doing Magic.

Shit yeah, man. My school had zip drives for all their computers, so I put a bunch of self-contained SNES stuff on one and played it every day there.
Teacher was so cool he let me slide if I made him a copy of all of it, which I did. Those were an awesome 2 years.

No one got Pokemon cards to actually play them. We got them to collect them. In that sense, a dark charizard is chump change compared to a first ed. normal Charizard.
Magic and Yugioh were much better for actually playing with.

I know I'm in the minority, but I fucking loved those things. It felt like a godsend when I replaced my floppies with a handful of these things.
Hell, I still have one somewhere I used for SNES emulation.

Didn't happen, but I did take a switch to my back while meditating under a very cold waterfall for an hour and chanting "no kids touch my things" over and over.

He came up to be and went "look anon I made it as cool as your gameboy!".
I beat him over the head with the gameboy.
Luckily, his parents aren't spineless twats and told him he deserved it when he ran crying to them.

Also, to explain that:
I had a black GBASP I had "modded" by putting patterns of duct tape over it. Had a Triforce on the cover with ornate patterns everywhere else, all in cut-out duct tape.

Lending a child in the family my gameboy color.
This is how it looks like now.

You versus a legion of slapping Dark Sims.
The only weapon you can use is timed mines.

Man, I was so excited for that game until I realized something:
They have the War chapter on the box. My least favorite one.

I'm pretty sure watching a Blu-ray of the season 2 of Game of Thrones looks better on my monitor, and there's plenty of motion in that.
Same with watching HD re-masterings of Monty Python.
Oh, and playing any game that can do 120fps.

I love CRT's as much as the next guy, but they have no place in anything made in the last 10 years.

Did it fall from 5 stories onto jagged rocks?
'Cause in normal circumstances there's no way a little fall would harm a gameboy.

>> No.842676 [View]

>>842625
I don't think we're that stupid.
The only thing nowadays that works on CRT etc is retro games.
