So, Wave 3 of the shooter compilation torrent was finished about 2 days ago as complete as it will ever be , and I might add more to that section of the torrent later. LazyAnon, I need to receive an update on your completion of the other portions of the torrent, so I know what to begin working on next. If I do not receive word from you in 3 days, on Thursday, I will begin working on waves one and two alone. If you do end up posting links later, I will still snag them, and will include them into the torrent if I haven't already completed them.

Also, the torrent is going to be much larger than I expected. It is already at 11.5 gigabytes, and we aren't even finished! I think that is actually really good, because that is 11.5 gigabytes of quality pixel apparent goodness if I do say so myself.

Perhaps we can pump out this torrent before the end of next month!

Actually, I will just include the game files and a text file saying what you need to run Assassin 2015.

We talk about other first person shooters, there are a SHITLOAD of them!

Only 5 more games for Wave 3 of the torrent, but they are also going to be the most time consuming. Rodger Ramrod, and Prime Target may not be finished, and I will be forced to add them as demos(I cannot test Prime Target demo either because its a mac game, and I don't possess a macintosh, but it should work so included!), I have to redownload Escape From Monster Manor to see if files are running optimally, I will probably end up adding 2 versions of Rebel Moon, and for Assassin 2015, I have to set up VMWare, pirate a copy of windows 98/95, and redownload the game from inside windows 98/95 I think thats how that works?

Anyways, slow progress is progress, and counting sequels and addons, probably about 70 games have been completed so far.

I WILL upload the torrent BEFORE I begin working on Pie In The Sky engine games, because I know not many will play them, and I don't want to hold up the torrent for them either.

Lazy Anon/LazyAnon, requesting a progress report on Wave 1/2 of shooters!

I hate to ask you, as you have probably deleted the files by now, but could you re-start up the Sega Saturn game from yesterday while adding step by step instructions on how to play it? For example, "Run SSF.exe, select options and options again, select bios,etc.." from beginning to end. I was reluctant to nag about it, but its necessary! I have been attempting to root the information from videos, but they are outdated and different in terms of options and defaults.

If needed, I can reclaim the links to the files.

Also, sorry if you are the wrong guy. I am running off of memory since Foolz Archives is down.

I might just add this link in the torrent, or make a PDF/text file out of the content in the link, because there are so many different issues all depending on the computer the program is run on. The error I was experiencing was one of the few that render the entire program useless, and not the one you were having.
This is the error and the troubleshoot ripped directly from the site! of course I followed the advice, silly anon !

"Q: I get a “Direct3D9::_initializeDirect3D9” error

Upon booting a game, you might receive this error:

IDirect3DDevice9::CreatePixelShader() error.
File : ./Direct3D9.cpp
Line : 1180
Function : Direct3D9::_initializeDirect3D9

The only troubleshooting measure you can try is to download the latest version of DirectX. If that doesn't help then your computer isn't compatible with SSF. Sorry :("

Thank you for testing it, very much appreciated! Knowing it works is 90% of the battle. Will add into the torrent.

I need to test if the SEGA Saturn emulation works before it is added to the torrent, but am unable to due to hardware requirements that my computer doesn't meet.
Would someone kindly download a few things and test the game out for me, while also providing step by step details for how you got the game to work in a .txt?

While I am here, quick update.
Finished Wrath Of Earth thank you anon , The Hidden Below, and that is about it! It is progress, it tastes great in moderation you gluttons! Ironically, I felt like I had completed more.

I may just get off for tonight, and forget about the torrent for a day or two if and after I finish with Robotica. I am really in the mood for some Quake or Unreal from some other thread in which I kept forgetting to remove my tripcode when posting.

It autocloses with >pic related error when I run WOE.exe i had to speed prt sc , and it simply autocloses without any error with DOSBox.

I attempted to use your .conf file, but it continually gave me the error >also in pic related.

It is most likely an issue on my side, so I will work on that. Thank you for the download, and confirming it works!

You do know these games were made in 1999, right?

Anyways, yes. In terms of arena games, but if it were Quake 2 vs Unreal Gold, FORGET ABOUT IT SON

Update with muh realtime barrier notes

3rd Wave Games To Finish:

Rebel Moon ATTEMPT TO FIX MUSIC if I cannot fix, will just add unaltered version of game plus 'portsplice' into the torrent.
Escape From Monster Manor 3DO SLOW FRAMES PER SECOND, try different download
Wrath Of Earth DIDN'T WORK try different download
Robotica SEGA Saturn GRAPHICS CARD ERROR, unable to run any SEGA Saturn emulators LOOK INTO MORE
Rodger Ramrod FULL VERSION CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE
Assassin 2015 VIRTUAL MACHINE WINDOWS 95/98 WORKS
The Hidden Below 31 MEMORY .rar UNRARS TO 382 MEMORY AND IS BROKEN find new download
Prime Target CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE MACINTOSH 9 GAME

I finished Duke Screwem(added to the new Obscene Wave folder) get outta my way bitch , Jumping Flash!, Kileak - The DNA Imperative, Bloodshot - Battle Frenzy, and perhaps Escape From Monster Manor; if it isn't broken and the frames per second are an issue on my side.

Going to bed, may work on it more tomorrow.
I will check for replies tomorrow, so I may ask this now! Any coders out there able to create a file compatible with rebel moon rising that will run the music at the correct time? Would that be possible? I think a few threads back an anon said it might be possible, but fuck if I have enough knowledge to deal with it, nor do I remember what he said about it!

If needed, I could upload the games to dropbox so you know how the folder is built and where the files are.
I am probably beating at a dead bush, but it is a desperate beating god dammit
Of course, the player could just play the music with outside sources while playing the game, but it isn't the same! I wont force them to do that if it isn't necessary! No No!No
please help me this is bothering me

I was considering it, if only for novelty purposes, and the amount of them available is something you might look back in disgust. I have an inability to turn down a smut rich retro first person shooter. ;)

>>706720
Never did want to have to go to such lengths for one game, but if I must, I shall.

Yes, I agree the more the merrier, however with the obscene amount of games ran off the Pie In The Sky engine, it seems like a lot of work for sour fruit. The games are really all the same, just with a different uninspired theme slapped onto them. I may end up adding them into the torrent however, but it may extend the release of the torrent by a considerable amount of time, and I may not be able to obtain all of them.

No, not yet. I emailed someone who claimed to have the game, yet I haven't received a reply back. I may not be able to receive the game, so I might just have to include the demo. Same for the game "Prime Target".

I classified the games of the torrent by Waves to make it easier to organize. Wave 1 would be games like Hovertank and Duck Hunt, Wave 2 would be games like Wolfenstein and Kens Labyrinth, and Wave 3 would be games like Doom and Duke Nukem.

Alright, downloaded all of the games (that I could currently) required to finish Wave 3 of the shooters, still need to test them out before I move on to working on Wave 1.

Finished Alien Cabal, Alien vs Predator, Damage Incorporated, Quarantine +, and Zero Tolerance.

Also, should I add this game I found that runs on the Pie In The Sky engine? It is titled "Duke Screwem", and
>pic related
Spoilered because the 90s were great.
in laymans terms, NSFW

If you are there, LazyAnon, I would like a progress report!

Anon working on Assassin 2015 modernization conversion, did you ever finish, or should I continue searching for a working copy?

Do you mind doing such a thing for me? I have no experience with such. I can upload the first Rebel Moon, and the second one to dropbox so you know the layout of the CD.

NOTE: If I did this, it would be the already 'ported' version of game one, not the original executable files.

Should I include the original .rar of the first game with it if I did? only answer if you want to do it

Yeah, I feel your pain as well. I gave the game lemons, and it gave me shit.

Right now I am fucking with Rebel Moon Rising's(Sequel) executable file and attempting to successfully use it to run Rebel Moon (First Game) WITH its music. They run on the same engine, the game does run(damned well it does), but the music runs from Rebel Moon Rising's CD. I may have to create a .iso with the first games music in it.

I finished a few games for the torrent in that small time, however, YES, I HAVE MADE SOME PROGRESS IN THE PAST HOUR!
Finished Rebel Moon Rising, and H.U.R.L.! Yeah, it isn't a lot, but I think Rebel Moon is a great game, AND FIND THIS EXTRA WORK NECESSARY!
