??? You can change various video cards and soundchips in the DosBox. With the right ROM files, you can also emulate Roland cards and stuff.

For 3D games, of cose the forks of DosBox work better.

Yeah, lots of grind. Flare also works nicer with fireshields. Shadow throwing Kappa weapons is easier to achieve. The blue mage grandpa and the raging shota also take less time to exploit but you need to know the weaknesses of the enemies you fight.

It was made for Win95. Win95 progs have a lot of problems with modern machines.Most common problem is that they just don't like duo core CPUs. That or they use some DLLs or DirectX functions that are no longer supported.
