Also, if you like story more than levelling up, go for some poont-and-clicks. They broke from tradition a lot more

Not traditional themes? Dude, D&D's planescape universe is different, but as trad as hell.

Can't really think of any CRPGs that are that different, but the JRPG "Live a Live" on snes was a pleasant break from the norm moreso than earthbound

Not /vr/, even if it had the sensibilities.

Saging and posting for no real reason. I lile beer.

It's worth it for the excitement! That ripped off label could be ANYTHING! And it's only like $4 per game - if you don't like them or they're dupes, dump them on ebay.

You're either new, or that is 8/10. Unsure which.

Are you sure number 2 came out on genesis? Must find it!

I would be mad as fuck if my starflight map had shit doodled on it. Took me forever to find a decent priced CIB copy

One mega drive game I got from eBay had a sheet of cheats inside, torn out from gamesmaster mahazone.

And my copy of Urban Strike came with passwords for every level, but never used them - felt it defeated the point

This. When playing time crisis with the original G-loc gun, you could plug one of these into cpntroller port 2, and stand on it like the pedal in the arcade. Played the hell out of it, never broke a controller

You say that, but there are collectors for everything.

Most little mods are easy and safe. But Protip - if you don't know what you're doing, NEVER open up a CRT. That's a quick way to die.

Not too much. Screen can be had for about $30-40, and I'm handy enough with a soldering iron to change it myself. Gonna cannablize a broken old camcorder I have for the battery pack

>> No.999486 [View]

>>999484

Haven't received it yet, but reports of about 2-3 hours. Well be modding a new screen into it, which should improve things, and constructing my own battery pack. I'm aiming for 6 hours per charge

Bought a Sega Nomad from the US. Got a good deal on it, but shipping is a bitch. It's been in the country for 5 days, and still hasn't cleared customs! Very frustrating. I just wanna play some mega drive on my lunch breaks dammit!
