There was an arcade in Highland Village, TX at Pantera's Pizza (later changed to Pantino's Pizza) that had Road Blasters, Street Fighter 2, Ikari Warriors, Gauntlet 2, a Play Choice Ten that had Goonies on it and Pin Bot, these are the games that I have had the most fun on in my life at an arcade, the Gauntlet 2 in particular

Samurai Showdown 2, Virtua Fighter, Cadash, NBA Jam and APB will always hold a special place in my heart as well

Zelda 2: the Adventure of Link is my favorite Zelda game but you cannot go wrong with Zelda: A Link to the Past, I don't think I've ever met anyone with a bad word to say about that game

Not at all, I find I am as good at video games as I have ever been in my life, I beat the Binding of Isaac the very first time I played it, granted you only have to beat Mom the first time through (which is hardly a challenge), the only thing I have noticed with age is the lack of passion I used to have for video games

It's a pretty big waste of time unless you are really into video games (pretty much all hobbies are like this), I stopped collecting around 1999 or 2000, just stopped being into video games as much, still have one of pretty much every system up till then with a few games on each that I will play every so often, all the duplicates went to nephews and nieces with all of the games I'd probably never play again, I don't miss any of it in the slightest

There are some really sweet games on that Turbografx-16 don't give up on it so quick

It's my least favorite Zelda game and speedruns of it are very boring because they are so far removed from how the game is played casually, I enjoy speedruns and the speedrunning community but Ocarina of Time is not a fun one to watch

I had a similar experience but in reverse, I was a little disappointed with Super Mario Bros, I loved Mario Bros

It was either TMNT on the NES or Final Fantasy 7 that were the most disappointing game I ever played I was expecting the arcade when I got TMNT and how they came up with Final Fantasy 7 after the masterpiece that was Final Fantasy 6 still baffles me today, Final Fantasy 7 in retrospect is probably the winner, I grew to enjoy the TMNT game

Castlevania was the game I was most disappointed with before I played it, I got it for christmas but had wanted the Legend of Zelda, I was sooooo MAD at my mom before I played it, lol, what a spoiled fuckehead I was
