Yes, actually, but it would involve using the same raw used for the softsub, and that raw would have to be a transport stream, so for most episodes, this is impossible.

The episodes are 40 something minutes long each, right? Pretty sure >1GB is the standard for 720p live action that long. I'm going to do a test encode of episode 165 tonight to figure out exactly what frame rate the show SHOULD be, and I'd be surprised if the final product didn't end up being around 1.5GB.

Its encoding in general. If they don't have a transport stream, they should just mux the script with whatever raw they have. Softsubs are really the only option in their case.

That's not even how it works in the first place. Chances are once you properly IVTC the raw you'll end up with 23fps. There's no getting around it.

So they were right in front of me the whole time? But yeah, I just want to get to the top of this. Perfect Dark is barren for some reason (there were a shitload more raws of other things last year, maybe I broke something), and I don't feel like setting up Share in 2013.

By the way, do you have any up to date PD node lists? Would that help me out at all?
