It started out with recreating the rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and then I got to thinking I should make a proper WAD instead of disparate bits of content.

Also, if you can't see the difference between shooting homicidal geese in a video-game and torturing animals in real life you might be the one with psychological issues

i liked the techbase detailing and other things like the balcony textures

that being said, the general texturing is pretty bland, the lighting is too uniform and bright, and /it's too easy/; it needs a few cacodemons or a trap or something.

if you're doing it for purely cosmetic, fixed-sprite reasons, you could use DECORATE to make a duplicate of the monster in question and offset the sprite so that it appeared to be standing over the edge

i have some experience in extracting sounds using audacity, in my experience the game's sound engine is amplifying all sounds, rendering a basic rip quiet

if i remember correctly you can increase the volume of a file using audacity, perhaps try ripping it then boosting the volume

the problem is that if you get into a refire loop you can't see where your ammo is at, which could fuck you... then again there's a certain appeal to that as a game mechanic, making people wary as to their current charge

also as things stand it just look like the screen blanks out as opposed to it flashing white
