Well, this is a really tough question, because different games require different soundtracks.

Some games with the best soundtracks are:
>Rayman
>Ecco Defender of the Future or Ecco Sega CD
>SuperProbotector (ContraIII)

It's actually fantastic, becasue every level plays different. Show me a modern mainstream game where every levels plays different. Nier? Sorry but I prefer battletoads, because at least battletoads has a hot queen and isn't just some random bullshit.
