Not really, the fun thing in Bangai O is to use the missile fury attack and try to generate as many explosions as possible. Rushing to the end of the stage without luring many enemies around you to unleash your missile hell is missing the whole point of the game.
Also, the IS a time bonus, you will want to still do everything as quickly as possible on N64, while still destroying everything you can.

Collecting fruits is pretty seamless because enemies drop them, you just kill enemies and quickly gather the fruit before it disappears. On the Dreamcast game, enemies drop HP refills apart from fruit, making the game easier and making the fruit collecting pointless. Also, on DC, you're limited to how many enemies there are on screen, the same number of enemies on screen is the same number of max. missiles you can shoot. On N64 you can shoot 100 missiles at a time, even if there's no enemy on screen. It's more free.

I like that you use the word "Nincel", because you reveal yourself as a simple console warrior, not a real Bangai O fan. Both versions are pretty fun, with N64 original being deeper.
Visuals, music etc is different in both games and can be enjoyed separately, you don't need to hate one and love the other, you can like both.

The SA-1 is mainly just used for voice playback, the game still has a good share of slowdowns which aren't present on the Playstation and Sega Saturn versions.
Also the superiour 32-bit versions have true co-op, whilst you have to take turns on Snezz.
