Played this through Nintendo Online crap. I actually found it pretty interesting once the controls made more sense.

However, how the hell do I get more money? I think I am softlocked because I ran out of cash but guides aren't obvious.

Help in kings field 3

I can't seem to get past the forcefield bubble around the moonlight greatsword in the cemetery zone. I see in some guides that I need to go find all the archmages to get past the barrier. I know I found the wind one in the first area, the water one at the lake, the earth one in the earth dungeon, and I just found orladolin and put him together in his maze. I don't remember finding a fire one, but I can use fire spells. So maybe I did and just don't remember it?

Where are each of the archmages if anyone knows? Info on this game is really scant online.

I had played all the others years ago, but only am finally getting around to kf3. I was the dumbass who did not realize there was a difference between kf 1 and 2 us and jap so I played both in Japanese not thinking there was an English translation. I'm not the best at reading japanese but I can struggle through it in small text blurbs like old rpg's have.

nta but while its easy to measure time via distance, how do you measure distance itself? space-time wouldn't be quite the same as Earth time obviously, but I would imagine space-distance works differently too.
not to mention that even said distance can move differently depending on the motion that takes place within the time it was left behind. who's to say its not completely static either?

It kind of is seated in your head meat though, technically it's the impulses between synapses and not the meat itself that holds the information but let's not get all technical, what matters is that your brain is holding information like live RAM with a battery, it isn't like an HDD where the info is etched into the physical medium and can be switched off and on. Once your battery goes, so too does your memory. If you aren't strengthening your synapses they are slowly regressing until failure, this is your reminder to do something more stimulating than lurking online. Read a book, practice athletics, learn a second language, you only have one brain and you should take care of it with healthy and regular physical and mental exercise. Been working my way through pic related series and they're fun, but Im getting kind of frustrated. Is there any way to consistently get hits on the harder enemy types? It feels like its impossible to hit as long as they keep turning so you just keep taking decent shots until they randomly decide not to dodge. Not to mention how finicky the gun is for its low damage.

OP, maybe you had the same kind of problem I did.
When you lock onto an enemy, wait for the word "FIRE" to appear. If you fired with just "LOCK", it won't hit most of the time.
I played through a good chunk of the game without knowing that, wasting 50 missiles every single stage. Only when I came up against Schwarze Squadron was when I realized I wasn't playing properly.

It's a great port you have actual cutscenes, a world map, added challenges, a real 2 player challenge mode, a vs mode against Boo, and GB Printer images that are fun to look at. Tons of artwork. Oh and it also includes SMB2. As far as the smaller screen, the screen scrolling Nintendo added works, so while not as tight, at least Nintendo tried to do something about it and it works for the most part.
I wish someone would mod this to the NES version to have a definitive version.

If it's the main series, I'd go with 7 (base plus expansion), merely because it looks the best and is Ultima at it's "height" in terms of graphics and game complexity before EA destroyed the series.

If it's the Underworld series, I'd go with 1 simply because it has a tighter, more cohesive story.

If it's Worlds of Ultima, I'd go with the Mars one.

6 was my favorite growing up since I played it on the SNES and was blown away by how much better the DOS version was when I played it as an adult. (I'm 32, born in 1990)

3 is the first really good one.

4 is a historically important game that everyone should experience (but try to put yourself int he headspace of the time it was released)

5 refines 4 and I like it more, but I don't tihnk it's as important of a game

7 is great but I still prefer 6

Underworld I & II are amazing

I played Ultima Online for thousands of hours per year between the ages of 13 and 18, being a fucking retard it probably shaped my social development in a relatively positive way (let me experience a real community and the consequences of your actions in a way me being a shut-in SNES playing autist playing single player JRPGs never did). I also met some long-term friends through there. Now I'm a well-adjusted adult working as a software engineer, married with kids. Thanks UO.

But for the single player games Ultima 6 is my personal favorite. The whole series is a classic.

I vastly prefer Classic, but i say, give both sides what they want. Just do a hard time skip divide and keep Classic how it is/was story and style wise and just made Modern the complete embracing of the batshit insane, 2000s, shounen, deviantart Adventure madness people look fondly on. Like a classic MegaMan and X series split. Kid and teen/adult Sonics. Scrap twitter/meme sonic, no one gives a fuck for that. Just embrace the two styles that got the most positive response.

>> No.10004823

>>10004772
They should just fully progress modern Sonic into some kind of action RPG, since that's clearly what the fans want. Anime storylines, and lots of characters.
Let Classic Sonic be the actual platforming franchise (and maybe even make a 3D one)

>> No.10006236

>>10002958
It's better off without it. A part of what makes Sonic special is that it's just a bunch of characters running around islands. Mario is just a hero while Sonic is a force - it will not go away nor will have a home. Trying to turn Sonic into just your usual hero with a home will lead to either the insanity that are the comics or just a way more bland interpretation of the characters.

I feel like they are the reason the PSX/PS2 sold the most due to how cheap they would be (like 3-5$). Share yours if you still got them, I still have so many of them.
