It was middle of Septober. I play game from long lost fiend. It was call Wario Land: EnSnarred. I put game in tray and play. It was Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. I think I must be trick. So I keep play. Only the title screen duck gave the most blood-curling moan. He sound like Tom-Cat only he started gurgled and drowning in semirealistic foam. Wario gave wink as if to say, let's do it kiddo. With pepper in my throat I push on.
Game was normal only the enemies died in most horrific ways when Wario touch them. They would have horrific screams when knocked and destoryed by Wario. This was horrible man. I even try to kill him but he flip me off and won't die, so I kept playing. We get to boss Turtle. He had sacred look in his eye as if want to get away. Wario flex his muscle. I wrestle the controls from him to tell him no don't do it but he didn't listen. He garb that turtle by neck and tale like a savage, deshelling him in grotesque way imagined. This wasn't a Mario game. Wario opened him mouth and took in blood and guts of his enemy like a savage.
He kept going his way, getting more and more violent. Strangled his enemies and ripped them apart, as river of blood flowed over the hud and seemed to come out of the screen and stain my hands. I..started to like it. Oh no. I had to snap Wario out of it before he corrupted me. I remember that Wario liked treasure. That should do it. I directed Wario to a treasure room, but he wouldn't bud. When I buttonmashed he had enough and went in. He took one look at me with a delirish smirk. My eyes widened as his jaw unnaturally unhinged and he chomped the trashure into pieces. He wanted something else.
The game go this way until last boss. It was Syrup on bed looking afraid. She run over to her lamp for defense but Wario get their thirst. He ate it like the treasure. Then he look hungrily at Syrup. I never realize it until now, but this scene, Wario is a bad guy.
"And it feel so good to be bad," said Wario.

Soikaruga, whilst a shit shmup, came out after the genre had already been fucked by the invention of tranmaku, thanks to Cave.
