Yeah me too. I have no clue why people suddenly started talking about these games so much. Maybe it was marketing back when they were starting the series back up but some people really want to die on the hill that they have one really deep memories with it
No way this game existed

You literally need to beat Knuckles story in order to get Sonic's true ending. Why are you willing to die on such a retarded hill? Are all Sonic Adventure fans this dedicated to ignoring its faults?

This is still the best DBZ game period and I'll die on that hill. Tenkaichi can suck a fat one.

complaining about goofy cosmetics always seemed like a weird hill to die on when most endgame cosmetics are just as garish and "immersion breaking" as that unicorn armor in your pic. MMOs being the worst examples of this.

>inb4 "but the endgame stuff is free"
and? it's still just as much of an eyesore as unicorn boy on the left. whether it's an unlock or a cashshop item doesn't really change that.

I only like BT3 because it has every single character ever. The actual gameplay of the Tenkaichi games wasn't actually good but it was just entertaining back in the day to pit Yamcha up against Super Saiyan Broly and see what happens.

I still standby that Budokai 1 is the only genuinely good Dragon Ball Z game ever made and I will die on that hill. Good story mode that just recreates the anime with in engine cutscenes and simple but fun tekken style fighting game combat. Thats literally all I have wanted this franchise to be but they fuck it up every single god damn time by making the story mode lame as hell or over complicating/dumbing down the combat way too hard.

Overall I think Sonic 2 has the better ost, but
MARBLE HILL ZONE
and
STARLIGHT ZONE
are the two greatest pieces of Sonic music across the entire franchise and I will die on that fucking hill

Yeah - but better sound improves the time you don't lose... so... you know... figure it out.

This is like saying - We wanted to avoid OpenGL or D3D because one second logos at the beginning so we stuck with the Wolfenstein Engine for our latest offering.
You wouldn't do that if you have equal options on the table because that'd be dumb.

I get not wanting the logos and his not wanting the logos is good. Unless you've got an equally useful competing audio standard to utilize or a way around it - maybe that ain't the hill to die on.

>uses polygons to render levels
>polygons transform in 3D space when moving
I don't understand why you have to die on this hill...

Doom on PC doesn't render polygons or transform them.
Doom on PS1 does, because that's simply how PS1 graphics have to be made.

Sonic 1 because my dad owned a Genesis, I'm not sure if he bought Sonic 1 or if it was bundled in, I just know that I loved it. After our Genesis broke, we got a PS1 and eventually a PS2, where I saw it had Sonic Mega Collection Plus and Sonic Gems' Collection, got bought, and from then on I was a Sonic fan for good... interestingly, what won me over were mostly the 8-Bit stuff... and 3D Blast.

Sonic 3D Blast is a really decent Collect-A-Thon platformer which surprisingly made the formula work for Sonic and I'll die on that hill... also, both 8-Bit Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 are superb platformers.

Fuck space furfags.
Fuck magical crossdressers.
Fuck effeminate swordboys.
And most especially, fuck stupid gay balloons with eyes.
Link is the most fun character to play in Melee, and that's a fucking FACT. This is a hill I'm willing to die on.

OT but my "bad translation that I prefer" hill I will die on is Piccolo's weird antiquated quasi-Shakespearean speech in the early parts of Viz's Saiyan arc. He's the reincarnation of a demon that had been sealed up for hundreds of years. Of course he's gonna talk funny! I don't care that he didn't talk that way in Japanese!

I will because I think it's fucking big brain design. I'll die on this hill. One of the biggest problems nearly every Zelda game has is you eventually hit a point where rupees become completely irrelevant. Hell, a few Zelda games have an additional problem of being completely fucking overloaded with arrows to the point of uselessness too. Using the money as ammo solves a few problems: You never have to stop what you're doing to go to a shop to buy ammo or try to farm ammo, rupees are useful to the very end, and enemy drops are cleaner as a result (Bombs, rupees, fairies, clocks, hearts)

I could see an argument made with "Well if you're still farming for supplies to get rupees instead of arrows", and that's true, but the odds of me getting what I want to move the fuck on are a lot higher than they would be if I'm trying to roll for ammo and I keep getting money instead.

It really is a fun time, Darkseed 2 that is. It's not perfect and i think by nature alot of point and click games are a bit obscure with their puzzles (as in real life, most scenario's could be solved with a crowbar-smashing something open, prying something open, threatening someone to get information or killing someone) so by necessity some solutions needs to be a litte more creative but i will die on this hill and says ds2 is one of the less guilty culprits-unlike ds1.

I like how you went from debating to just tossing insults out. This is not a hill you or I should die on, Anon. To change from this increasingly pointless bickering, have you played anything interesting or noteworthy lately, my dude? I've been playing Super Smash TV (SNES) on my GPi Case.

This is one of my favorite games. Super underrated. I feel like it's like Donkey Kong but more complicated.

>right to left mechanic
>multiple ways to get points
>bombing
>2 player at once
>RNG
>loop of over 25 levels instead of 4
>gets progressively harder

I think it's a perfect game. I'll die on that hill. I had the highest score over a decade ago on Twin Galaxies after watch King of Kong and getting motivated.

Thats some cool ass loading screen music. But truth be told, I'd only listen that if I felt like it. Maybe once or twice I'd stick around to listen to it, but I'm assuming that it stops once the game loads (based on comments I saw on the video, never played the game), which to me is a cock tease.

There's nothing wrong with valuing your time and skipping things you don't need to deal with. 5 seconds or not, skip it if you want. I genuinely don't see what there is to gain from sitting through a loading screen just to satisfy a philosophy you have.

There's a time to sit back and enjoy the ride, but I don't enjoy loading screens, so that's not a ride I want to sit back and enjoy. I stick by what I said before, if you're arguing that people should purposefully stick through loading screens because we all rush too much, you have misplaced priorities. It's the wrong hill to die on.

I'd probably listen to the OST on its own though, because like I said, that's some cool ass loading screen music.
