they don't have map previews during contest and stuff so that people will actually open the park and view it properly instead of looking at the preview and scoring based on that. It gets added later

other than having a pre-lift block brake and the cameras this is a perfect layout

the issue wasn't in building it and getting trains running on it, it was in how stupidly fucked the g forces were. I'm sure some company like RMC or GCI could easily make the same layout but it just wouldn't be safe to ride, and not as fun as their normal layouts anyway

take a space rings, change the train type to mini golf, set it to 1 car, change it back to space rings. Now you can use the tile inspector to copy and paste the space rings track to use as a wall type or as a planter box.

Its invaluable

I know anon. /r/rct has hit the point of being big enough to start attracting karma whores and it has turned into the usual trash. The scenario playthrough thing they have going right now is dope though

Cool! I'll try it out again

Mack Powersplash I did in Duerklink's server is pic related

Most anons that post their parks here then go and repost them on reddit. You realise how small and tight knit the rct community is right? There's literally 3 active communities left for rct2. NE, Reddit, and here.

I'm actually not joking, it was a huge casual trend for years for easy free internet points

I should probably add it to the pastebin. I have Parkitect (backed it on kickstarter back before the steam release) but I've found it very underwhelming. I always get frustrated because I try to move the camera like a 3d game but there's no option for a 3d camera. The landscaping looks terrible and all the game controls feel floaty and delayed.

unlike rct1 and 2 it seems to high a higher perspective point so you are looking down much more then directly at stuff, so its much harder to see the details of what you're building.

That said it isn't horrible and is very promising, the devs seem really nice and are constantly updating it, so it could get better in the future.

Planet Coaster is first and foremost a sandbox game and it always will be. Making something pretty takes a really long time (I spent literally an hour on a single planter box a few nights ago) but the result is really stunning. It's much closer to a casualised NoLimits than RCT3. If you want good scenario play, RCT1/2 and Parkitect are your best bet. It also doesn't take a beast to run, I get a flawless 60 on my 3 year old machine that was built with parts that were outdated at the time and not even high end.

I've never tried Theme Park Studio, should it be added to the pastebin? I heard about it but it had such incredibly mediocre reviews on steam that I never bothered

I've never been able to get this working, I just turn off block sectioned mode, test the ride until half of the trains have left the station, closed it until they make it to the second station, turned sync on and tested it again.

Your only other option is to split them into two separate rides

in terms of the layout, all the elements are on point for a GCI, its not very compact

Got any Sim City info for the pastebin, anon? good fansites, or just a run-down on the advantages of each game in the series and which one to play first? etc etc

Your city's looking very comfy btw, I love it

then switch the track type to LIM coaster (under the viewport is the ride type name with a dropdown box, select it from that list). You won't see the lift speed in the ride settings, but it will be the same as before.

While you're at it, you may as well make the train type the wide hyper twister cars for realism. https://rcdb.com/9140.htm#p=35082
S&S does this with their launched coasters like link related

turn on the "arbitrary ride type changes" and "use any vehicle" cheats, then build your layout out of any track type that isn't LIM coaster track.

Only uses pieces that the LIM coaster has (no large loops, barrel rolls etc) or they will be invisible (but functional) when this is done. If you know how to merge, you can just merge on the elements you want.

adding these now. Worth noting everybody I have talked to said xbox rct1 is a really shit game too because the controls are bad.

There's no point to adding buggy's page, most of his stuff has been outdated or is low quality anyway. I'll link to the workbenches section of NE instead, all the good stuff is in there anyway and gets auto imported. I'll link to SpaceK and X7123M3-256's custom rides though.

Thundering Sierra is a bad example. Landscaping and archy are on point but the layout is stretched thin and not well thought out
