there's a guy on the forums who crams a sanwa jlf into the stock AES controller, but I haven't attempted that yet because it permanently alters the housing.

If anyone has an AES there is cool mod to replace the stock buttons with sanwa buttons. also the shaft is standard size so any arcade balltop will fit.

it was designed for the 'executive' but there was literally no business software for the commodore, just awesome games. I guess we know what executives do all day.

this looks like a pc 88, to answer your question graphics were influenced my several factors, mostly the chipset. for instance C64 had a very good video chipset capable of manipulating sprites in realtime, whereas the PC 88 was designed for business first and had a comparatively weak video processor.

if you must have a CRT in this day and age you might as well get a sony trinitron. anything else will be a waste of time and space. poeple are fond of the sony PVM series because they are rugged industrial monitors used in broadcasting.

yes? it's a commodore sx-64, the first portable PC ever made. it's entirely compatible with software made for the 'breadbin' style C64 with few exceptions. it has no provision for a tape port.

the GBC uses a simple z80 processor with custom firmware by nintendo, the GB boy just uses pirated firmware. the hardware is 'compatible'
i.e. not emulated.

honestly I play mine all the time and it's not even noticeable, you really have to try it yourself, don't just take the word of some fanboy. it's not a big deal.

if you mean it has only 300 ohm balanced antenna leads, you can use whats known as a 'balun' to attach a standard F connector. It is imperative that you match impedance or the signal will look like complete shit.

buzzing yes, hissing I would have to hear to diagnose. it could be you are hearing the 15khz noise that is prevalent in all CRT's.

RCA ceased to be an american company after 1986, anything made after is most likely chinese junk, and I cannot stress this enough, chinese CRT's suck ass.

honestly the absolute best (shadow mask) crt's are going to be made by zenith and RCA. sony is completely different with their Trinitron, they basically reinvented the CRT. Hitachi made very good shadow mask tubes as well.

here is another famicom I modded for composite video out, in order to reduce the 'jailbars' i had to add VCC filter caps to a few IC's. it is possible to have clear composite video output from the famicom but you must have a basic understanding of the circuit design. nesdev forums are a goldmine for anyone interested in this.

I get no interference, I posted a picture of metroid earlier. the pic is crystal clear. I usually prefer function over form when it comes to circuit design. as long as it works as intended who cares what it looks like.
