In contrast to that Quest 64 makes you choose between the two.

Look at pic related, a memory card rumble pack combo, then ask yourself why they would make such a thing if there was no real use for it.

You have obviously never used an N64. They actually tell you DO NOT REMOVE THE MEMORY CARD, PLUG, OR UNPLUG ANY CONTROLLERS WHILE THE CONSOLE IS ON and DO NOT REMOVE THE RUMBLE PAK WHILE THE POWER IS ON

>Normally designed with the D-Pad for movement

That being the key here. If these 2D games were designed to use the stick it would have probably been fine.

Okay? Am I wrong or something?

The problem is Dreamcast uses GIG-discs, not CD-ROM. They are actually 1 gig.

You'll come to a page where you pick disc at once/track at once, data type, et cetera. Click data type and there should be a Dreamcast mode.

I feel like the stick would have worked fine in 2D games and that they probably could have ditched the D-Pad all together.

I personally would, but that's only because Alcohol120% actually has a Dreamcast burning mode so you KNOW it's set up right.

I kind of wonder what Nintendo was thinking.

Okay, you got me there to an extent. It would still never feel right because the games aren't designed for a controller like that, but who knows? Maybe that controller is the game changer.

Try an ISO instead.

What brand are your discs? SUPPOSEDLY Dreamcasts are picky with what brand you get as far as discs.

Okay, sorry if I came off as an ass. The most common thing people tend to do is burn the cdi to the disc as a file.

>> No.2408764 [View]

Okay, stop everything you are doing.

>Get alcohol120% so you can burn shit in Dreamcast mode
>Make sure you are opening the cdi and not just burning it to a disc

Also, shocked nobody has asked: How EXACTLY are you burning these discs?

Either buy the adapters to hook up authentic controllers to the PC or get flashcarts.

Not to push, but how am I wrong? Isn't that why anyone buys any console? For the exclusives?

>5/17/15: /vr/ figured out Nintendo.

You haven't been buying a console since the N64 dropped, you've simply been buying a new means of playing Mario, Zelda, and a handful of b-grades.
