I was playing Atari when I was 2.
And by playing, I mean apparently I sat in my dad's lap and herpaderp'd with the controller while pretty flashy things happened on the TV.

Cool, I got family up there. I'm down in Graham, myself. You know of any good retro shops in the Tacoma area? I only know of a store run by a friend of mine.

Yeah, you can do some crazy shit by messing with this stuff, many results can be very entertaining, and even sometimes incredibly interesting.
I also like looking for things we're not supposed to see, like unfinished areas etc.

I'm just gonna assume he's talking about cheaters in a multiplayer setting. But still, in retro gaming, that can't really be an issue. If you don't like it, and you see a guy putting a gameshark under SF64, you could easily go "dude, no".
If he's getting all aspie about people who cheat IE fuck around in singleplayer games, then he has issues.
Severe, autistic-related issues

Not him, but you're the twit that needs to go away.

Also, I think all this has lead to how I operate in modern games. If it's multiplayer and I'm not really good, there's a very high chance I'll hack the shit out of it because fuck people.
Sage for pointless, personal, non-retro post.

I still have many of my cheating devices. I've always figured that when I beat the game, I'll cheat the shit out of it for some extra enjoyment.
I used to print out walkthroughs of tough parts of games, as well as massive lists of codes, and kept them in a binder. I still have the damn thing. I think the longest thing I ever printed out was the entire walkthrough to Mario Sunshine.

I also have a reasonably large guide book collection.

Could be any number of things. Do general troubleshooting as you would with any electronic device.

Hit and run?
No. Keep hitting him in the jaw until he's dead.
This is the only viable tactic.

You sure like to project a lot, and have some severe issues.
Kindly take yourself off of /vr/, no one wants you here.

I'm not sure. I've tried to do it with my own old monitor, but that thing is long since broken, and I can't be fucked to go and find one. I'm sure it looks comparable to a CRT TV, though.

Or maybe he doesn't have the cash for a CRT monitor? Maybe he has a good setup, he just wants to emulate through his TV? Maybe he can make it happen with just some simple cords?

Stop being such a twat, or take your shit somewhere else.

How is he an idiot? If I had the hardware, I would totally emulate through a CRT. I don't have the money for a flash card at the moment.
It seems like a lovely idea.

Stop pointlessly lashing out at others for your own shortcomings.

There should be converters out there for such a thing, but I'm not aware of them.
