Wasn't there a way to play PS1 games off the PS2 hard drive has well? I suppose if there was it would have been brought up, but I feel like it was possible.

There's a few games that would have been better picks.

Phantasy Star Online, for example. As far as I know people still play that, and it's been on the PC, Dreamcast, Xbox, and Gamecube so people obviously gave enough of a shit to port it to so many consoles.

Why emulate a PS2 anyway, though? They are easy enough to find, and softmodding them is easy easy easy.

Wow, you must really look up to me.

I thought it was modus operandi, but yeah. Things he does as a routine.

>If it's 100% it will definitely play like shit
I know, but 100% is better than <80%

>...Starfox playing at 15 fps

Is that like a slow down or something? What idiot doesn't take advantage of the fact emulators don't suffer physical limitations of hardware?

>> No.2449915 [View]

>>2449902
I made my own by cutting the end off of a controller and cutting a USB extender in half then splicing the pieces together appropriately. That's also how I used pen drives as memory cards on un-modded xboxes.

>>2449890
To each their own. I like being able to turn it on and go, especially after the 2 HDD mod.

wow you are such a fucking retard its unbeleivable.

quote me saying the seller needs to have a picture OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL VMU

I would assume they only work on emulators and homebrew, but don't quote me. All I know is you pretty much find the driver for Windows2k, assign a specific name to it, and drop it into the right spot. I remember thinking "OH SHIT! I can finally use a PS1 controller to play SNES on the Xbox!" when it was figured out.

>> No.2449878 [View]

>>2449874
Keep in mind the original Xbox used USB for it's controller interface so, assuming you have EvoX installd, you can just drop the appropriate driver into the appropriate partition and use any USB gamepad

>> No.2449873 [View]

>>2449856
Again, get an original Xbox. It can emulate everything up to the PS1 with virtually no issue, and the fact it uses USB controllers means with a little leg work you can get each consoles controller working on it.

lol you

>> No.2449854 [View]

I'm not the one buttmad because the seller doesn't have 400+ sepperate images of the VMUs he is selling.
