Superficial effects still make a Downe psychologically, and truly can change how you view the experience. I understand people who prefer hardware to an emulator... Don't get it myself. But if I'm playing a console game, emulated or not, I much prefer a controller and a tv.

This. That 3d in the arcade blew away so many people, I'm still surprised it's not held in higher regard

I still last for a Multi-Mega. A friend for one when I was in school, my jealousy knew no bounds. Shame they still cost so much

STUNT ISLAND.

Oh my god this game rules. Loads of things to fly, do stunts in, and set up cameras and events All over the place, record your runs, edit it into movies, it's just AWESOME.

If you want fun and creation, play Stunt Island NOW. If not, stick to your boring shooty bang bang fliers, while I remake the end of independence day.

I bought a spiderman console like this. THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I don't imagine the batman one was any better

I got BeOS free with a PC mag back in the day. Good times, but playing around trying to get slackware running was more fun

I've heard this, but my DC has been running burnt discs fine for 10 years. YMMV though. Still thinkung about doing an internal SD card mod for it though

I have the Dreamcast version and controller. Game is awesome, but hard as shit. Thinking of trying to do a basic translation of the DS version, get more English speakers in on the fun

I cut my teeth making funny little games in qbasic - best was a little moon base management sim. Then moved onto visual basic (which I disliked for games, but found awesome for quick gui apps). Messed around with ZZT and Dark Basic, then real life caught up with me and got it off the loop with programming. Finally getting back to it age like 7/8 years, learning python and starting to romhack. Romhacking is going quicker than the python, surprisingly
