Looks like a ton of fun, unfortunately it costs ton of money, and I hate CD-Rs, so I might have to miss out on this one.

10 bucks. Seriously, they're fairly useless and easy to find.

It's all right, I just splurged on a copy of Radiant Silvergun, I won't be buying much for a while. Just save your extra.. pence? You'll have it in no time.

I recommend picking up one of these; it's a 4-in-1 device that fits into the back cartridge slot which functions as a cheat device(yawn), extra save space, RAM expansion for graphically demanding Capcom fighting games, and, most importantly, lets you play any game regardless of region, useful for the great import games.

Prepare your wallet.

Take a thin, cotton cloth(like a bandana), wrap it around a credit card, douse it in alcohol, and clean out the cartridge slot. I've done that to my N64, Genesis, Super Nintendo, and toploader, and I haven't had problems since.

No, but seriously, sending people to random addresses then getting angry e-mails back is a lot fun. I recommend trying it.

Oh shit, guess I better get on that.

I recommend using that as a guideline as to what games to pick up. There's also a picture, but if someone else could post it, that'd be cool.

You might want to list games he can actually afford..

I bought it from a friend years and years ago when he was moving out; he only had Nights into Dreams, Saga, and the console, I picked it up for him for fifty bucks. Bomberman and Silvergun are new additions; two months ago and yesterday, respectively.

A lot of my games are at my friend's house, so this is all I got to share for now. Also, yeah, like >>889028 said, rare does not always equal good. There's plenty of shitty games worth a ton of money, but only because they're collector's items.

Let's see..

-Contra/Super C
-Shatterhand
-DuckTales
-Lifeforce
-Gradius
-Bubble Bobble
-Blaster Master
-The Guardian Legend

These are the games on the NES that I've enjoyed the most that I've played recently.

>> No.888969 [View]

Well, if you're not having fun, no one can fix that for you. As for your screen flicker problem, the NES probably needs it's pins replaced; it's an easy repair, just take a bit of time to unscrew everything. You also need to buy new pin connectors, but it costs, like three bucks online.

Oh wow. 431 is a Canadian area code. Someone's getting phone bombed.

I called the phone number earlier, but they're not picking up. I want to inform him the value of his game. His voicemail box is full, no doubt from other collectors/resellers, and I'm sure Manhattan is full of them. I just want to tell him before he makes a mistake. Gonna try again in the morning.
