Well done. I cringed at a few parts (you can roll into the necky instead of jumping backwards and landing on it) but I have had this game since it came out and been playing it my whole life so I have all the levels memorized. I wonder what OP's video would look like.

OP how far along are you? you said you started over?

You sold it!? Really? Fuck man. Well I just bought a complete in box copy with map last year for 112$ Canadian with shipping and I am glad I did. It sucks that I only found the game by playing it on ZSNES like 9 years ago but I did at least 4 or 5 playthroughs since I had it on my laptop. Feels great to play it on the SNES though, and when I played it before I used savestates and a few times had to look at the game guide which I am shaking my head at right now.

I was a little shocked to hear that a whole team of people made Super mario cross-over. I thought it was just a generic reskinned game because I played it on Newgrounds. Unless this game has a whole bunch of other features to it that I'm not seeing, it just seems like a basic game from mid 2000 that people were spewing out onto newgrounds all the time.

I would like to see this game finished and what it will look like and I am excited for the online and 4 player co-op but I am a little skeptical about how much money should be put into a game that looks very generic. I'm not saying they are straight up stealing your money but why would it take 2 years to make a 2d 16-bit game unless it's some crazy fucken masterpiece?

Just my opinion

I have to agree that it was the typical cliche of "hey why are monsters appearing more around town? Young hero go save the world" but at the time you didn't see a whole lot of that story and it was still okay. Looking back I have to agree that the gameplay was just beat a town and then you can go through to the next one but what else would they be able to do? How else do you progress to the next town and advance the story? I haven't seen any other games do what Lufia 2 did so well and that was the puzzles and the use of "walk one step and the monsters walk one step" which was way better than Lufia 1's RANDOM BATTLE every 10 seconds.

Lufia 2 is probly my favourite game on the SNES and I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys classic RPG's. I loved leveling up my monsters. The final boss battles were kind of lame and not too challenging, and you never really use the poison or other status effect spells on enemies but that's the same in any game.

After you've beaten the game a few times you can breeze through all these levels without hesitation.

if you do the barrels flawlessly and don't wait too long to do a shot then you get a blue balloon at the end of the barrels
I've only done it once and that was a few days ago and I've beaten this game countless times

OP how are you making out so far? Did you give up, did you make it to the save?

doesn't it only have like 4 levels ? and the boss is a reskinned harder version of necky? I think that's why

>> No.963771 [View]

op in level 2 of the ice world, wait for the jumping critter to get close to that blue vine, then jump off him and ride it up. DONT go into the door on the left. Jump into the BLUE BARREL above the door and you are at the end of the level.

In the 3rd level go LEFT right away and get the ostrich to make life easier.

You are going to have a hell of a time in the industrial area so after you beat the boss of the ice world GO BACK TO THE ICE WORLD AND SAVE then use funky flights to go to industrial area after you farmed a few lives so you have 5 or 6

Any good ones for the Nes/Snes that have little "slowdown"" problems? I've got Gradius 3 and it's pretty fun except if you die in the later levels you are fucked because you start with nothing

OP! What is that blue controller peripheral for the snes? Is it comfy? It looks fucking amazing. A brand name would be cool too because I would like to buy one.

Really? For some reason I always see it talked about online but never amongst friends and the arcade games are always empty. it's like it has a cult following. Something about those pixle graphics just makes me so amazed. Very fun game with a friend
