In all of Megan X1-X7 is there a single instance of X stopping an actual crime? Or caring about the lives of people who aren't Maverick Hunters?

Does /vr/ like Chrono Trigger? Why or why not?

Me personally I think it's one of the best if not THE best jrpg from that era. Great soundtrack, fun story, fast pacing and a lively cast of characters. Also I like how the battles are animated and was disappointed when Chrono Cross didn't use a similar system.

Megaman Zero is basically a dark'n'gritty deconstruction of the narrative established in Megaman X, it's definitely worth playing.

Megaman ZX is... very polarizing, a lot of people didn't like it, but IMO it's the best Megaman game ever and I don't care who says otherwise.

Yes. I played through all of Tong-Nou and had to look up the solution to one puzzle, and the walkthrough said something like "I only found the solution to this by opening up the game in a hex editor, I still have no idea how anyone was supposed to legitimately figure this out"

Not even close. Quake took full advantage of the 3D level geometry (room over room, bridges you can walk under, etc.) and also had a lot of platforming challenges with moving platforms and stuff. Levels like Satan's Dark Delight and The Wizard's Manse could never have been done in the Doom 64 engine.
