This is definitely Cabal. There was also a version with joystick controls, and a semi-sequel set in the old west (P1 was a cowboy and P2 an Indian)

>I can distinctly remember there were different starting points and stories for the class you chose.
>SNES maybe?

Sounds like either Seiken Densetsu 3 or one of the Romancing SaGa games. If it was an action RPG the former, if a menu-based JRPG the latter. They were only released in Japan, so if you played one of them in English you were playing a hacked ROM.

7th Saga/Elnard (no relation to Romancing SaGa; it's an Enix game) has a choice of seven heroes, but they all start in the same castle.

Back from a couple nights ago.

>PC
>Late 90s, early 2000s?
>Isometric action RPG like Diablo but not Diablo
>Click to move/attack the usual
>Not overly cartoony, realistic visual style
>Living in a castle, medieval times?
>Might be either a prisoner or knight, do a quest to kill rats in basement for chef
>Spacebar equips weapon to attack
>Inventory system has you looking at your character, model changes with new equipment/clothes

No dice last thread, anon who finds this is king googler.

Nope, too cartoony from what I remember and there was only ever one person you controlled/was in your party.

I'm going to look into Chameleon Twist, since I own all the others on that list. Thanks, man.

>Dink Smallwood

Looks decently correct, but too light and too airy. This game IIRC was very dark and foggy. Looks like the correct gameplay/graphical style (maybe a little more advanced), and camera angle.

Guys you are my last hope
Okay it was like a spaceships game for PC, I guess it was for Windows 95.
I can't remember much, it was like very simple, the ship had a circle around it that was supposed to be a shield and I think I had to conquer planets and I always got beaten by another ship with a lot of shields and I couldn't harm it even a little. The map was divided in sections like quadrants or something. Damn its hard to describe, I was really young , I actually never learnt how to play it

Had to be a game like house of the dead except it definitely wasn't. I watched someone play the game but basically it used light guns and you shot at ghosts/zombies/etc. I remember when particular spot where there was some kind of apparitions that would hide in the ceiling or the floor and throw what was like a ninja star at you, which you had to shoot.

It was just really odd to say the least, and it feels like they really tried to copy or were at least influenced by House of the Dead but I know for a fact it wasn't that because it didn't have any voice acting to speak of.

Also another game, you used a sword to block attacks and slash enemies. You actually had a plastic/foam sword that you placed somewhere in between these poles which I believe picked up the input of the foam sword. It was actually really fun and wasn't very wonky at all. I think you found undead samurai/knights or perhaps they were just regular attackers who attacked more slowly.

Some old 90's DOS FPS game. You started out in some compound with a few buildings. It was either foggy or the draw distance was just bad. I seem to remember that enemies didn't show up right away, and I don't think you had a weapon at the start either, too. The first weapon you got shot some kind of goo that encased enemies. When you died, it showed a screen with your body and a caption saying something like "You body was found with a note on it saying 'Stop wasting my time with these sissy-men!'" or something to that effect.

Live a Live?

>> No.286607 [View]

I'm pretty sure it wasn't 1999 or before but I hope I can still ask here.
It was an arcade game. The character you play as was an anthro rabbit and the only level I remember is a jungle or forest type level. You could get a power up attack that shot flaming dragons. I think it also had flying treasure chests. Ring a bell for anyone?
