Searching for a game that was on Genesis. IIRC you controlled a crab who was competing against another crab. One was left , one was right of the screen. You could grab balls which would be in the middle of the screen. Or something like that. I can barely remember.

Oh I hope someone can help me on this.
I remember playing an extremely weird game on PS1 at a friend's house around 2000.
It was really colorful with repetitive music. I don't remember the game having any goal or story at all. It was just about discovering strange places.

Got almost no memory of it but it's worth a shot.
It's an old PC 2D platformer probably developed in the mid 90s, maybe earlier. Setting: I think you are a bandit/outlaw and you have to go/fight through several levels. They don't have a western atmosphere though. Probably a pistol is your weapon but maybe you can also pick up other weapons. I think the menu for choosing the levels was divided in 3 rows with big pictures for every level.
Would appreciate any idea.

Yep, I recall there was large "upper" area, and the character did have a blue shirt, forgot to mention that.

I don't recall a blue castle, but I do remember there were a lot of ladders everywhere and you could enter a structure...which very well could be the castle you mention.

Do you remember the system? This would help narrow it down a bit.
