HA. After that warlock dragged me off and stuck me in his squad, we get to the battle, right? So we (me and the other wraithguards) get shoved out of a wave serpent and the warlock TAKES COVER BEHIND US. Not even trying to help us here, and we're up against Dark Eldar here. AND my gun wouldn't work, due to it being powered by the pschic abilities of its wielder. I may be made of the warp, but I'm no psyker. It made a nice club though. But enough about me--heard you were in a coma from your Inquisitor buddy. Feeling better?

Was in a very unusual conversation with a thing that was like half-human-half-snake, but wasn't a mutant, and something like a giant flying fire-breathing lizard in human form, that wasn't a xeno, and a very angry servitor made out of only wood and metal, that wasn't heretek. I take it both of you missed that thread.. or what I shared at least.

It was years ago. After a big storm. Big big storm. Blew the hell out of everything kind of storm. In the aftermath, there was a baby mockingbird in our driveway. Not just the bird.. but the entire nest. It just sat inside chirping.. waiting for it's mom. We decided not to bug it to give the mom a chance to find it.

Never did.

I took it upon myself to take care of it when it became apparent the mother had given up on the baby. With that storm, the wind could have carried the nest a fair enough distance to make it impossible to find for the mom. Tough luck, birdy. I was willing to try though, and I tried my hardest to keep it going.

I made it a nest in a small box. Kept it fed. Kept it nearby to watch it. I tried to stay near as often as I was able. Kept it safe and happy. Near as I could tell a baby bird could be happy anyway.

Disaster was already brewing though. I couldn't be near the bird all the time. My parents wouldn't have me cooped up for weeks just to care for a bird, and they took offense at the idea of keeping it in the house because it pooped. When they insisted I make the nest outside.. yeah.

The issue of not being able to keep my eye on it got worse. I made a comfy nest outside in a cylinder. Nice roof.. soft inside... on a rail so it was harder for stuff to climb up and get inside. It just.. disappeared one day though. I hadn't heard it crying for a while and went to check, fearing it was dead. It was just gone though.

I was.. very upset. Inconsolable. It was nowhere to be found. I feared it had been snatched by something and was dead. Luckily, it showed up a day later wailing. I rushed outside and immediately relocated it inside. My parents could hardly argue with it after my worst fears had been realized.

The problem remained though. I couldn't be at the house 24/7. A week had passed, and things seemed to be going fine. The bird was fed regularly, seemed to like the choice of food(I think we settled on some kind of berry that the bird liked. I forget what it was specifically). But.. well..

Came home one day. I had decided to keep the bird on a very large table by the door, so I could see it right when I walked in. It was on the floor. The dog was hovering over it. The baby bird was hobbling around in pathetic circles on the floor. It couldn't stay on it's own feet. Just one leg could stand. I knew what happened immediately. The dog had been overly interested before. Nipping at the air near it. The dog had, obviously, got a bit too close and carelessly hurt it. I nearly killed the dog there. I restrained myself and chased him out of the room. No time to kill him after all. I picked up the bird carefully and put him back in his nest. He had to have jumped out of the nest and wandered off the table. The fall couldn't have hurt it(too small for that).

Had no choice. The leg must have been broken. It didn't look broke.. but the bird couldn't use the leg. What else could it be? I told my parents we had no choice. We HAD to go to the vet. They had been reluctant to go before. I had actually originally wanted to just take the bird to a vet. What did I know about raising birds? They fed me an excuse about how they would have put down a baby bird, but I think now they were just concerned the vet would make them pay for the bird's care or something. The way they talked as I said we had no choice now.. they were worried about the vet making us pay for it.

I didn't care.. but I knew they'd probably just put the bird down now. It was injured.. and so small. So small, too hard to take care off at that size and age. I reluctantly handed the box to the woman at the front desk though. I explained the situation..

Then walked out. I didn't know what they were going to do with it. I didn't know if they would take care of it or put it down. I never found out. To this day, I am clueless.

And to this day I am tuned into baby bird cries. A very distinct sound, really. I try to ignore them every year when it comes time for BIRD BABIES.

And it's not really that important. I'm a cog in the wheels of the Great Machine. I am part of Vinctus Lustrix, in a very small sort of way. Who cares how many men I could take on in ritualized one-on-one combat? All that matters is that my little cog-self turns in harmony with the rest of the machine. Love is a emotion, created through bio-eleticrical stimuli created in the brain by various means. It is also a powerful emotion that a good deal of the warp is made out of. If harnessed correctly, it can even calm the warp eddies enough to create a simple form of maulable warp, further testing indicates that the Eldar created their Warpways weaker walls out of this. However exploitable it may be, it still holds in some places.

Because I declared heresy, rightfully so considering the ship, and since his mindset was always "might makes right" he shot me. As soon as I could, I hit an escape pod, went to the waiting escort ship, and got the throne out of there.

Then I ended up spending a few years in the webway, chatting with a half-dead eldar. Picked up some xeno-medical skills as well as some other nasty damning knowledge, and got back to the Imperium as fast as possible. Through the Eye no less. Did you know that I had to sneak past an entire chapter of Chaos Space Marines with a dieing eldar on my back? Varity's a sister of battle with ablative armour against innuendo. Narl clearly sees about as much action in the field of romance as Armageddon sees drinkable water in the wasteland.

"They can never know about this" Verity hissed as she tried to find a comfortable position, confined not only by Administratum closet they had absconded to, but the clumsy way Narl had wrapped his arms about her in an attempt to draw her close. Her left arm banged against the wall of the closet, as Narl's arms hooked up under her armpits.

"This was your idea" Narl hissed back, trying to hold still against the fidgeting of Varity. He couldn't get comfortable, half stooped as he was and unable to get a good spot to stop his arms from feeling like they were going to fall off.

"Just... shut up and kiss me" Varity managed to squeak out, before closing her eyes and pursing her lips. There was silence, and Narl hesitated as he pursed his lips in kind and tried to move forwards to meet in a kiss.

"What's taking you so long?!" The sister barked out, snapping her head forwards as her eyes opened.

There was a loud crack, and the pair staggered out of the closet holding their foreheads and cursing one another.

The Administratum scribe whose closet they had retired to looked up for his desk, let out a long sigh, and returned to his paperwork.

Varity, let me explain something to you about arguments, which, admittedly, I have ignored up until this point. It takes at least two people to argue. Both engage in the act of arguing. One statement does not start an argument, a statement and a response do. The argument continues only so long as there are two sides responding to eachother.

An argument can not be blamed on one party or another, because both parties are vital for the argument to take place.

"You're sure about this?" The Crusader asked, as he stared into the teary eyes of the sister of battle. The sounds of The Seventh Symphony of Macharius' Crusade shook the walls of his quarter to set the mood with its operatic singing and Basilisk cannon fire, as the lovers prepared to take the next step in their relationship.

"I do... I love you" Varity cried out, barely audible, her unarmoured chest heaving with each nervous breath.

"I love you too" Narl remarked, smooshing his face against hers awkwardly.

"Be gentle" Verity let out a small sob, and tensed up as Narl began to push into her.

"It's... it's not going in" Narl spoke up after a small moment of useless prodding.

"A-are you sure?" Verity peered down, to where Narl's penis head poked against her belly-button.

"I wish this was in the Primer" Narl sighed.

"I love you" Verity panted as her body heaved in delirious pleasure, sweat rolling down her face as she and Narl rolled in the throes of their passion.

"I love you too" Narl grunted in response, speaking between placing his lips and making sucking noises against Varity's nose, "I never want to let you go"

Varity moaned and pushed her hips up to meet Narl's knee, bumping stomach against it. She could feel how mostly close Narl was as he tried to balance on the office chair on the bed. Occasionally it got pushed away, and he was forced to wheel himself back in. Oh but he know how to knead her breasts, except they were her shoulders.

"Haxtes you bastard, come inside me" Varity demanded with a growl, to which Narl paused.

"Wait... how?"

The two sat upright, and looked at one another.

"Should we... take off our clothes?"

They sat here in the clinic, side by side in complete silence as the world passed by them through a pair of automatic doors.

"We were careful" Narl tried to reassure her, but Varity was inconsolable. Her teeth grinding together as she looked away.

"I'm sorry Varity. I love you. If... if this is how it is I will take full responsibility" The Crusader in Training Wheels spluttered, trying to catch the look of his beloved sister.

Varity muttered something quietly.

"I mean it Varity. I love you. I will do anything for you. I will take responsibility in this" He took her by the hand and gave her a reassuring squeeze.

"Narl... you know what this means... I-I'm a sister of battle. I can't..." her voice trailed off into sobs. She was strong, but Narl knew even this tested her to her limits.

"It'll be okay!" Narl tried again to be strong, to be reassuring. His heart was beating hard in his chest like a heavy bolter letting loose.

"It won't be okay" Varity said as she looked up at last, finally showing Narl her black eye, "We seriously need to get some charts before we do this again"

"Narl!" Varity cried back, her voice catching in her throat as further words were stolen from her.

"I can't... hold on" The Crusader warned, his hands fumbling across Varity's bared body.

"Just a little longer" The sister cried out urgently, trying to shift her weight under him.

With a groan, Narl lost his position on the saddle and fell off the bed with a loud thump. He lay there for a moment trying to catch the world as it span around him, and saw Varity's concerned face peek over the side.

"This isn't how you do a reverse cowgirl is it?" Narl asked.

"Get. The Fragging. CHARTS" Varity screamed.

FINE GEEZ.

"N-Narl!" Varity cried out in the dark, her voice belaying the shuddering of her body as Narl ground himself against her, "S-slow down! You're so big!"

"I can't stop Varity! I have to keep going" Narl was a man possessed, lust filling his heart and driving his body.

Varity could only gasp as Narl continued to pound her, flesh on flesh. The cacophony of their love-making muffled by the Ninth Hymn of Supplication set to 11 on Narl's speakers.

Then suddenly the lights came on, and the pair of lovers froze, Narl's backside coming to rest with one large smack on Varity's stomach where he had been bouncing buttock-to-belly the whole time.

Mordin Solus stood in the doorway, aged eyes staring at their pair.

"Came to help. Tired of old gag. Worn out already. Always loses pace after third. Fourth never as good. Dragging out. Brought charts. Diagrams" the Salarian Doctor explained, disgorging a large stack of dataslates onto the floor, before leaving again.

The pair sat in silence for a moment.

"Are... we really that bad?" Varity managed to say in spite of being winded from Narl's repeated butt-slams.

"Verity havingk zeen better" the Gnoll nurse called out from the window where she and the rest of /tg/ were sitting and watching in horror.

Leman Russ looked up from the sheet of paper at Kharnwriter, who shrugged his shoulders helplessly.

"What? I don't get paid for this"
