Last self-bump - this looks pretty great, even if it is a bit expensive, it's basically a Liberated Account that rewards you for running, which is what should be doing as a criminal anyway

>> No.48100055

I think it'll be a great option for criminals that plan on attacking a single server multiple times in a few turns. Put it on HQ as Gabe and you're running HQ for 6 less creds. Plus, it might actually make Career Fair worth it (for real) in crim. Daily Casts, Earthrise, and this are a great foundation package for career fair to boost out.

>> No.48100095

I wish Chrysalis triggered from Archives. It's worse than Shock or most other Sentry ICE as is, imo. Most of the time it'll only really work early, and it's going to get immediately trashed.

>> No.48101262

The problem with criminal resources has historically been that they can't reach critical mass to outpace account siphon as economy. You have some great enabling cards like the supplier and career fair, but those only work with high cost resources which require you immediately clear your siphon tags. There are ways to mitigate even that cost [crash space and networking], but then you've turned one of criminals signature cards into a whole turn event, making it very tricky to play. Plus most of those decks run account siphon anyway, since there aren't a whole lot of late game pressure cards out of criminal, so you have to take their money to do things and if you're doing that why not don't I just switch a few slots around...

So that choice normally leans toward what works and is familiar, just playing desperado and cheap resources that you can replace if they get trashed. Temujin contract looks big and worthwhile in both kinds of decks, since it is stacking run econ, but my guess is that it won't show up in the cheap run econ based decks. Its too big of a risk and takes your whole turn, while also leaving 8 if you have to use it immediately cause you're tagged. Out of resource econ based build like the supplier however, it is very much worth it. Naming a central now means you're 4 credits removed from a scoring window after checking, plus the cost now is nowhere near as prohibitive and you can combine it with big runs. TTW should be a big help to those builds anyway and this may push them over the top. That isn't likely, but it could happen.

>> No.48101526

I've always felt that career fair hasn't been as good in crim because of low draw. However, with enough money you can support more drug dealers and bring that draw up. Temujin might help that a lot.

It's kinda strange how we almost have the first pack of the next cycle but the third pack hasn't been spoiled yet. I'm wondering if the spoilers are going to be a lot tighter this time around.

Jank kill of the week: Bullfrog, Labyrinthine counter, into a supercharged Junebug.

Been experimenting with Harvester in Chronos Protocol, and with a Mental Health Clinic/Sweeps Week base econ package I kinda like it actually.

Make the runner draw, eliminate the meddlesome cards. With both Salem cards in the deck you can basically ruin the runner. Biggest issue is dealing with what reaches the table.
Fun with a mass-install set up, is that new card a Psychic Field? Is it a Bio-Ethics Association?

Not great so far, but been having a lot of fun with some variations.

>I've always felt that career fair hasn't been as good in crim because of low draw

Definitely part of the issue, yeah. More importantly I think: only 4 resources in faction actually benefit from it. And those aren't exactly must-includes either. Compare with Anarch's 10 and it's easy to see why the card took a home in orange.

I can see this being to Leela what Tech Trader was to Geist. A complete game changer as far as pacing is concerned.

Power-turn Leela decks might have left some breathing room to the corp by being poor(er) after a power turn. Now they'll be in all probability richer. At the very least ready to go against glacier. Which is kind of a terrifying prospect.

Yeah, I like the ID at first sight, but way overkill on the NBN release schedule.

Recognized the name immediately. Love the chip myself.

>> No.48110074

Loving a good amount of these, the flavor text on Hyoubu is especially amazing. Sandburg feels weirdest to me since I've never managed to keep 10+ credits in my pool for that long.

Crisis Management makes me wonder what kind of situations would a runner want to keep tags. Tag me decks for sure, but I wonder what else. Here's to hoping Weyland's tagging abilities get better though.

>> No.48110119

Wondering about Hyoubu in Nisei.

Interesting all those 0rez/4 trash cards.

Stealth AI... interesting, but set up going to have some econ problem methinks.

Console is cool. And with all the various recurring credits options in Shaper, small in effect but potentially incredibly versatile.

Sherlock 2.0... I wonder.

>> No.48110177

As always with Weyland, landing the tag is the hard part.

I'm liking the idea of a cost-free (well, once scored) deterrent to tag floating though.

There's going to be some great Reina vs Weyland duo decks to design with this cycle, I can feel it.

>> No.48110250

Stealth AI with decent stats and a console to support it. Has massive support in faction for it as well. We will see a shit ton of this card at Tier 1.

Deuces Wild is OP, It will be 3 of in all Tier 1 decks. I expect it to be on the MWL some time in the future.

Fairchild is unplayable. Sherlock is not bad but if I am paying 7 credits for a card I expect more out of it then just uninstalling a program.
Hyoubu is interesting, it might be playable in Nisei division.

Watchdog is CRAZY good for Tag Storm decks. Controlling the Message is ok but I think NEH is still better for sideways decks.
Crisis Management is fairly playable Weyland Tag Storm is not that awful and this adds a fair bit of power to it.
Sandburg will be on the MWL in the future. Super Server Weyland is going to be hell to deal with...

>I've never managed to keep 10+ credits in my pool for that long.

Happens a lot with Weyland builds when you have to sit on a lot of credits for your kill threat to stay remotely believable.

HB glacier can often too.

With Jinteki and NBN, yeah, in my experience generally it more happens for short peek moments.

The ID itself is okay (though have fun trashing San San and then clearing a tag), but yeah, the release schedule is a bit much.

Crisis has the eternal Weyland problem - you don't let Weyland tag you

The thing that sold me on Hyoubu was the pic with it - all the Neisi's yelling noooo, as millions of lives get fucked over

Sandburg I really like - clearly, being rich this cycle isn't always going to be good for you, pic related, but having a minimum of 2+ to ice strength is really nice.
Given I naturally align with Weyland, I'm thinking Blue Sun - I pick up Orion, all my ice get (at least) +3 strength

>> No.48110337

Eh, as long as PPVP is on the MWL I think DW is okay - it's 1 inf too

Sherlock at least puts the cards at the bottom of the stack this time

>> No.48110633

Yeah, that consoles gonna see play even outside of stealth decks. 3 credits for 2 memory makes it as efficient as Maya, but the ability has no drawback. Even playing multithreader or playing just one source of recurring credits makes it worthwhile.

I'm not sure about Dai V. The only untyped sources of stealth credits are cloak and Ghost Runner, so it takes a while to set up and you only get one or two recurring uses a turn out of it without dipping into Ghost Runners. The way its worded requires all of the credits come from stealth as well, so you have to have two on the board. It's a good idea, but it won't replace a whole breaker suite.

It will work more like supplemental atmans, but for subroutine problems rather than strength. Cloak isn't a bad card, so you can play it before Dai and then you use Dai on all those sub spam ice that shaper breakers have problems with. There's also some study guide synergy as well, since Cloak works with those. Look for it in Congress style builds (which will love Mirror by the way).

>> No.48110634

Why is Fairchild unplayable? It's a Pup. HB Pup.

>> No.48110949

That NBN ID has reduced influence, just like BoN. So that makes 3 of 7 IDs with reduced influence this cycle, with 3 more unknown. It looks like we're not going to have NEH problems going forward, especially since the design team now seems to lean toward giving a reduced deck size.

Also, which runner cards trash installed corp cards on their turn? I can think of Political Operative, which I have seen used to stop SanSan plays in a way that CtM could exploit, but I can't think of other ways of doubling up.

>> No.48111342

Are currents installed? Also, is it the runner that trashes the corp's card? The cards Noise trashed aren't installed, and Spoilers has the corp doing the trashing.

>> No.48111348

Ah, read that wrong, my bad. PolOp seems to be it actually.

Card needs to be installed for the ability to take effect, while current aren't actually installed I think, just played.

>> No.48111359

Even if Utopia and currents are runner fired, they won't trigger CtM since those aren't installed cards which are trashed. I can't even think of corp cards with something like "the runner may --- to trash this" that could fire CtM. It's just a weird narrow area of the design space that is very specifically left into CtM's text.

I had not thought of the An offer you can't refuse synergy though. You have to have an installed upgrade for the condition to be met though. Maybe product placement? CtM may make that more annoying than out of spark agency, which I wasn't sure was possible.

>It has always been that way.

I don't think so. Certainly, ICE destruction has always been an issue of sort since the reboot, but ICE being basically consumables instead of recurring transaction is mostly a specific, relatively late development.

And I don't think turning ICE into transactions of sort - or giving widespread on-encounter effects - is the right solution.

May be wrong on that one, but well, in the long run I think the game needs that differentiated econ aspect that this would erase.

>> No.48112620

>Especially since everything is trashable,

There's a reason the Whizz has become so big recently: just because everything is trash-able doesn't mean the runner can afford to do so.

I mean, just look at that now staple Breaker Bay Grid +econ asset play... hard for the runner to come on top, and sooner or later you're going to force most runners to let you get your credits.

Add easy recursion to that mix, and you can start to see why people hate the museum (even though I myself find the reaction to it overblown).

Every run? Basically GPI Net Tap let you jack out if you see danger at a better level than Snitch.

Well, it finally incentivizes shaper breakers. If you only have to pump once for each ice type, then Sandburg is a whole lot more manageable. Of course, it also ruins atman decks, so call it a wash.

What it really wrecks is anarch breakers. if the corp can build up and stay above about 15 credits, they're screwed, even Faust can't afford an extra 2 cards per ice, plus the parasite resistance.

You have to rez ICE for it to matter. Which will make it a bit harder to sit on those credits Or creates interesting new situations for low cost ICE I guess (just imagine Wraparound).

IT Department took forever to build up. It mostly died out to most the games going to time.
Hard to do when even a small ICE becomes super taxing. Plus Weyland has a bunch of ways fetch it and recover it. Like seems like a great option of a Kill and Super Remote switch deck.

>> No.48115167

More than anything I use it to force a run on the server.

>> No.48115185

It's much less time intensive than IT department and setting up a Sandburg favorable situation is much less conspicuous. Think about trying to get through a 6 strength NEXT Silver or something like it.

I used to play an Foundry glacier back in Lunar that ran corporate troubleshooter since that was so unpleasant for the runner. Sandburg requires a similar credit investment, but its reusable and general, which really pays off. Seriously, I could get 10 ice rezzed by turn 8, which combined with Peak Efficiency made my ice ridiculous. Sandburg would slot into that perfectly, since I already had 3 Executive Boot Camp which required a secondary server that I could slot Sandburg into after tutoring for it.

The only problem I ever had was parasite, which Sandburg soft counters, plus there's Magnet now and its harder to recur those forever.

So that would give 13-15 ice slots [All next, Mother Goddess, Magnets, maybe Architects], all but 3 rezzable for 4 or fewer credits. If you play out of foundry, you can play them forever between jacksons, HB Recursion, and EBC. Nothing is D4vidable until you stick down Sandburg, at which point everything except for maybe next silver gets out of reasonable strength. Peak Efficiency turns on Sandburg after you've gotten your ice out, you have spent 6 influence so you can grab Navi Grids and even pay for Museums if you feel the need. This has all the makings of a serious deck, you're going to be under some early pressure but your ice is cheap and you can start setting up quick.

I've actually really liked the Making an Entrance/Piper set up with Valencia. Very high variance, and calls for very tight, careful piloting, but it allows you to dig for Blackmail really, really fast, which in turns gives you some more leeway to set up.

The cybernetics is overkill, but I just so much want to make a full cybernetics deck that works. Doesn't need to be great, but just work.

And with Fear the Masses, it kinda makes sense too: you need the grip increase from Brain Cage, you have strong use for the tools to prevent sensitive grip cards from being trashed that Titanium Ribs provides (probably the only way Ramujan makes sense to me in the released context; it accelerates your deck thinning while protecting the sensitive cards you need to keep in grip for your long term strategy), Net-Ready Eyes is always welcome in a fixed breaker suite... and, well, ok, Skulljack is Skulljack, but even it I've played in Valencia with Desperado, and in the current context it's powerful, spending a full turn to trash assets while expending little no credit is welcome... I was trying to think of something that would have synergy with caïssa without using the subtype. I don't think the card is worth the print as is - unless new support cards - I just liked the idea of "reading the board".

The "root of all evil" one is know well enough that it doesn't need the mention.

Hell, have the Anarch card that affects 10+credit wielding corp players named Root of All Evil with "sum of all blessings" as its quote. Works perfectly I think. And you can play cards off for density of meaning.

Card assembly as a poetry vehicle. As someone that loves how originally the haikai practice was a form of parlor game, I really dig the idea.

Question for you all: on the anarch card The Noble Path, you trash your grip, make a run, and avoid all damage during the run.

Wouldn't you lose the moment you trash your grip? Every other time your grip size is 0, you lose.

>> No.48126276

Incorrect, you need to be dealt damage more than the number of cards in your grip to flatline. You can play with 0 cards in hand, it'd just be extremely perilous.

>> No.48126288

The nbn id seems a bit inconsequential. I'm assuming we're going to get a 'reboot' of all the genesis corp IDs.

>> No.48126303

Not at all.
For one thing, it doesn't actually affect grip size, it just makes you trash your grip, but having no cards in you grip at any time doesn't mean you lose.

That would mean that any time you finish a Faust run with 0 cards you would lose, and that isn't the case either

You can also actually have a grip size of 0 and you don't lose - you just can't hold any cards over from your turn into the corp's turn (should you be able to draw on the corp's turn, say through Drug Dealer, you get to keep that, and can keep it when your turn begins)

It's ONLY if your grip size goes below 0, or you take more damage than you have cards in your grip that you lose.

>> No.48126394

I don't know about inconsequential. Makes trashing anything a lot costlier, one way or the other.

Those SanSan Grids were already a mouthful before... as a trigger happy Anarch player, I'm really digging it actually. Makes for interesting decisions.

Question, what exactly is "running"? I mean, what does it look like visually in the A:NR world?

The card art implies someone's second life avatar is jumping through space to heel-kick a cyber samurai, and that somehow translates into hacking. Is that actually what's happening? It's like a shitty cyberpunk version of .hack? Or is that just visualization, and "running" is just some dude sitting in front of a console watching loading bars on his programs fill up like in real life?

Is A:NR cyberpunk where cyberspace is literally the Matrix in space?
Or is it cyberpunk with a more realistic approach to hacking where programs aren't wasting resources rendering 3D models of samurais?

I think the Android Netrunner versions like to keep things ambiguous to a point, acknowledging the real world part of running, while still trying to place it within the original Netrunner context.

Do keep in mind that originally Netrunner took place in the Cyberpunk 2020 setting.

A card like Singularity for example, seems very abstract yet deals with destruction of physical assets. So are we talking about complete network cut out or terrorism and leveling of places? There's no definitive answer. And it's probably for the better.

>Most runners do their business in full-sim, with their rigs wired directly into their brains. The setup has a large number of advantages, with the runner able to process data and input commands far faster than a traditional meat-bound system. But it also means greater risk.

So what's the plan?

Simple. Corrode the runner's setup. The ice is fairly porous and will let the runner through but hopefully doing some damage.

So how do you actually win?

Killing is boring but the option is there with Arson. What you actually want to do is quickly score a one-pointer and then let the runner take a (not two obviously) Vanity Project. Get the runner tagged and Exchange of Information.

Now you only need three more one-pointers to win!

The ID should let you see the runner's grip from time to time. Use this information and Salem, his boatride, Waiver and Invasion of Privacy to remove key cards be it econ, recursion, high influence splashes or breakers. Archer and Keegan Lane (from key&peele?) kills ai/fracters/killers in that order so you at worst can hard score a Vanity for the win.

The runner wants off.
But the ride never ends.

It'll be fine.

IoP shouldn't be played when there's a possibility of failiure and getting broadcast out before rezzing 3D is nigh impossible to time well. I just float some bad pub until I draw exposé and recurr it with jackson or archived memories if neccessary.
I bring exposé mainly as protection against black mail.

Broadcast square works well with 3D if you focus more of your deck on bad pub generating cards.
I ran a nbn:breaking news deck with muckrakers, 3D, grim, shinobi, IoP and all three broadcast squares. Annoying as hell apparently.

Very different games but..

Addictive, high learning curve. Best cardgame ever. Can be enjoyed online without buying cards (inferior but some people do it)

Cool as fuck with some clever tweaks of the x-wing rules to make its rules system what I wish bfg was. On the other hand some simplifications bring the rules as a whole down in my eyes. Expensive. Is really hurt by the limited ship pool and factions. Fast game play though. And as a SWfan the ships just make me hard.

Full thrust is still a better ruleset.

Really dependent on the deck, but in a vacuum I would say yes. Problem with Wyldside is that a seasoned player will expect it and as much as possible keep another copy in grip just for that possibility.

As a kill enabler though, it can totally be worth it. Crash Space isn't fashionable anymore, but Hunting Grounds happens from time to time, NACH, Wireless, hell, Artist Colony... and my favorite target of recent memory: Off-Campus Apartment.

A lot of your deck seems dependent on an ability to stick a tag it seems like it's going to have a hard time doing. May be wrong, but you seem stretched a bit too thin to me.

Actually we do, it's just hugely expensive and non-core - no-one wants to shell out 7 and 2 MU for a killer when Mimic does the job.

Though I have seen it played, once or twice, usually by rich shapers - I think it was CT both times

I think it's meant to emphasise that Sentries are scary, and that maybe you should look before you charge in

>> No.48159349

Eh, the cost to install was why I didn't mention it, especially compared to the 2 cost 1 MU Corroder and 4 cost 1 MU (and retainable strength) Gordian Blade, but you're right that it's a 1 to increase, 1 to break breaker though.

I think it helps make choosing your Sentry breaker more interesting though; since they're all inefficient one way or another, what you choose will affect your play style significantly. Alias lets you hit centrals for cheap, Mongoose kills multisubs easily, etc., while other breakers usually need to be compared to Corroder and Gordian first.

>> No.48159532

>Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing though.

Count me in the good camp myself. There shouldn't be an easy go to option.
Better if there are implications both good and bad when you chose your cards.

>> No.48159564
File: 3.62 MB, 2692x952, Morph Ice.png [View same] [iqdb] [saucenao] [google] [report]

It's a 1/1 boost-break breaker that's base strength 2, which is the other key point when comparing with Gordian and Corroder

Bearing in mind that sentries tend to subs > strength, there's only 4 other killers with the same or higher base strength: Femme, Faerie, Creeper and of course Mimic

Creeper is interesting - it's cloud, 5 to install and 1 MU normally, and it's 1 to boost, but 2 to break each sub means it's generally not a good idea - if everyone played things like Grim, Nebula, Flare and Susanoo it might see more play, but with subs being sentries strengths' it's pretty low tier

So yeah, with killers you just kind of have to pick the way in which you're inefficient - upfront cost, boosting cost, limited servers (I'm actually a little surprised we haven't seen a killer version of Cyber-Cypher)

That's actually not what I'm saying - while all 3 have fairly narrow effects, they're applicable in a wide variety of different situations, making them strong and not really silver bullets.

Though I do think Critic is too cheap, and the flavour offends me immensely with how bad it is

Still working on Fear the Masses variations. Anyone else experimented with it?

Had a lot of fun with the Origami/Duggar version but set up time is just a hard, you have to concede the early game basically. That being said, played the deck against a Gagarin/Museum deck and the corp was in dire straights. Being able to burn a dozen R&D cards a turn once set up hurts.

The Valencia/Blackmail support with core Anarch breaker wasn't half bad actually, but by the time you have enough Fear the Masses in grip to be impactful, the game is almost already done most of the time.

The Adam attempt was kinda cool but early luck of draw with that reduced hand size could left you clogged which was a real killer.

>> No.48165436

For Salem you want to abuse the Mumbad City Hall/Museum interaction:

- play Salem, see the runner's hand.
- Put Salem back in R&D, then tutor an play it with the Hall knowing what to discard.

In the same way, mean trick with the timing of City Hall+Heritage Comity: you can use City, see what the top three cards of R&D are, and then decide to dig for HC to draw those cards, and only then does R&D gets shuffled.

Hmm, thinking about ESF, wondering what sort of cards, characters in particular - sysops, we know what they do, and this allows us to have 1-ofs, execs are at least an established type, even if the effects are all over the place

But Characters, we've got 4:
NBN's mob friend Ibrahim Salem, their reporter Lily Lockwell and Shannon Claire - Lily is probably NBN exclusive at 4 inf and tag-dependant, Ibrahim is alliance so has better tutors and Shannon's okay but niche.

The other Character, the non-unique one is the Zealous Judge

While unique characters make sense - they're just particular people - I'm not sure what other Judge-like personalities we might see

Any ideas?

>> No.48167617

Any job with a somewhat public bent really, there's nothing that could have prevented the designers from naming Shannon Claire "Yellow Journalist" and making it not unique, following the judge example.

Prosecutor (to complete the trifecta). Elected official of any kind (would actually have been very thematic to have a card named just "Mayor" or something after Election Day... doesn't matter the change, we know in whose pocket the mayor is - might already be the implication on the judge, I don't know the judicial system in India, should check if those are elected, appointed, and if so by who).

I guess police/military related could do. Retired General ("now, what a character!").

Starlet would fit perfectly with the implications I guess.

>What about Apex? Something to deal with traces?
As an Apex player, I would absolutely love:
>An in-faction way to generate credits and cards since you're already locked out of some of the most important resources and what few you can run get trashed 24/7
>Something to deal with Endless Hunger's huge shortcomings as your primary/only breaker
>A way to recover/recycle after trashing/face-downing half your shit or suffering from your own Apocalypse
As of right now, Apex really only memes on remote-heavy decks and lighter damage decks, and other ids can do that already without sacrificing the mid- and late-game.

On a side note, even though I play plenty of Netrunner, I know almost nothing about the lore short of flavor text snippets. Where can I read more about Apex?

>> No.48187797

Couple of ideas here

>0 cost condition, installed only on a rezzed corp card with a trash cost. Gain 1 credit at the start of your turn. When this card is trashed, draw a card.
>Its a shame grappling hook is already a card, since it would fit Apex well.
>3 Install AI: 2 strength, 1 installed card boost by 2, credit to break. Whenever you pass a piece of ice which you used this card on, choose one of sentry, code gate, or barrier. You cannot use this breaker on ice with that subtype.
>Something that flips a face down card face up. It won't trigger any on install effects[Monolith weeps], but still some very powerful econ only for apex. Also could cause some rules issues. Apex can't install non-virtual resources, but if he has a non-virtual resource installed from flipping, does it have to be trashed?

Of course, there's always card opus, which we still don't have runner side. Clicking to draw 2 would be a big deal econ wise and sticking in Apex would make it neutral with influence for all other real econ runners who want to chew through money making resources. Doesn't fit the destruction theme, but if you want to stick the effect somewhere, apex is a good place.

>> No.48188238

How vulnerable is Apex if you only use Endless Hunger as your primary breaker? If there was a way to use Prey every other turn and shrug off any effects from all other ice, it'd be a pretty fun and thematic way to play Apex.

>> No.48188515
File: 61 KB, 300x418, 02117.png [View same] [iqdb] [saucenao] [google] [report]

The first is alright, but I don't know if it's enough. Apex is geared towards the early game, and something like that would take a while to pay off.
Grappling Hook is pointless thanks to E3 Implants.
Not sure I understand the third one.
The fourth one would be great. More interactions with face-down cards would be cool. Not sure on the ruling, though. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to do that.

A lot of Apex decks, including mine, use Hunger as their ONLY icebreaker. Hunger + E3 Implants invalidates a lot of Ice, especially in the early game. The only problem is if Corp flips something like pic related on you. Apex literally cannot get by this without some costly tech (which you probably won't draw into since you can't run good resources, nor can you install it without trashing Hunger, nor can you pay for it, etc), or a meme choice like Always Be Running. There are a handful of ICEs that just stonewall you.

Prey is a pretty expensive card to use and there aren't many GOOD or mandatory targets for it, so you're really just saving Prey for things like Ichi or Turing. There's no need to drop Prey on something like Eli or your standard one-sub etr, for example. Having to trash five whole cards just to hit a Turing isn't something you can afford to do every turn.

>> No.48189369

Honestly, it's not even ICE traces that bother me as much as all the others.

You can't count on having any board state to speak of, long term. This is the nature of your game. Lil' Gingerbread is pretty decent, if not great, at dealing with ICE, and I guess Disrupter perfectly fits the transient nature of the decks, but then what about dealing against Controlling the Message playing Manhunt? You can't afford to play Link that much - hell you don't even have access to several link staple (on that front, hadn't hit me how many new Link options don't have the Link subtype, guess they didn't want Foxfire to haver too many targets).

>Where can I read more about Apex?
It's one of the most mysterious things in the setting, by design, all we know is the following:

Pre-Net, there was a mysterious all-consuming "blackout" that basically was wiping out the internet and data everywhere - NBN, just existing after a Bell-style monopoly breakup of a media company, managed to harden their networks against the Blackout, and promptly became a new, bigger network and media monopoly on the basis that only they could do the hardning - SYNC is the division responsible for maintaining the new Network.

During the Lunar Cycle, Nasir finds some mysterious data in an old military installation on the moon - it's very old, dating from pre-Network times, and no-one knows what it is (though it got him shot at), and when he opened it at home it worked on its own

You'll notice that neither of these things are about Apex, but they're the closest thing we know about that might be related

>> No.48191004

I screwed up the wording on the third one. It should read "choose one of sentry, code gate, or barrier that you have not chosen before". The idea is that its a three use AI, so you still want to mostly use endless hunger. The stats are just placeholders, though it should definitely use an installed card to break or boost to make it tricky in Headlock decks.

Also do you normally feel Apex econ is more limited by cards or credits? My guess is cards, which is why I think card opus would be good, but I don't play the ID regularly.
